What does she give Edgar, and what does he do at the feast (at the end)? Cook bread by breathing fire on it? How is that related to the gift?

Oh for goodness sake folks, lighten up and stop investing it with meaning.

It's a comedy.

What time period was it anyway?
Days of yore

@KitMarlowesCodpieceOfThigh

Please remember to put "lighthearted" after your posts 😉

I quite like it. But why isn't she at school? #austerity #torylibdemcoalition #nationaleducationservice

The daily mash take on it had me in tears, absolutely hilarious.

It's a bit Rudolph the red nosed reindeer isn't it?

Ostracised for being different, difference causes problems (setting thins on fire/attracting abominable snowman with blinking nose)

Gets to re-join group when the difference benefits the people who previously ostracised him

I actually love Christmas and am very soppy but it is the same story

@nowlook She's at one of those schools that only does 4 1/2 days a week because of cuts. Either that or she's been excluded permanently because she's a persistent accessory to arson.

It's a complete rip off of the kids book "Don't You Dare Dragon"

It's very easy to explain :
They want you to shop at John Lewis.

Any other explanations are redundant.
