What sort of thing are you after? Fancy? Casual? Burgers? Indian etc?

Assume it needs to be in the city centre?

FrangipaniBlue · 12/11/2019 20:46

The Ivy
Alberts Shed
Bem Brasil

TokyoSushi · 12/11/2019 20:46

Australasia is my favourite!

Love La Bandera.

Napqueen1234 · 12/11/2019 21:04

You can also eat there but Alberts Schloss is great for drinks! Alberts shed is good for food.

Try Thai.
Absolutely the best Thai food I’ve eaten. God my moth waters just thinking about it.

In Didsbury, Greens (Simon Rimmer's vegetarian restaurant) is delicious. Worth the trip out and not expensive.

gwilt · 12/11/2019 21:17

Soontobe60 · 12/11/2019 21:18

The choice is vast. What do you like? How much is your budget? Do you want high end or hip?

happytoday73 · 12/11/2019 21:18

Some good suggestions. Depends what after really...

For something different:Platzki. (need to book). Trying Jasmine grill (Lebanese) in a few weeks.

NauseousNancy · 12/11/2019 21:19

We are in the city centre.

Going on a bit of a ‘mini moon’ so somewhere quite nice but not super fancy fine dining as it’s not our style at all.

Do love Thai food so that’s good to have a recommended place!

Budget not really an issue for somewhere good! We like good food, but not pretentious type places where you leave hungry!

Do love a good burger!

Rudys pizza in northern Quarter (NQ) or Peter Street
Sugo (amazing pasta) NQ

Soontobe60 · 12/11/2019 21:22

Both I’ve said are mid price but not posers places.

Whodoyoutrust · 12/11/2019 21:22

El rincon De rafa if you like tapas, it's in a basement but really good and authentic.

Don Marco for Italian - you sit a little alleyway (with roof and heaters, it's lovely) feels very holiday-esq.

For lunch try pot kettle black

Whodoyoutrust · 12/11/2019 21:24

Moose coffee is awesome for breakfast/ brunch. Can be busy but worth the wait.

Dishoom is awesome for lunch/ dinner. It's Persian and very authentic.

redtulip12 · 12/11/2019 21:27

Dimitris - greek Restaurant on deansgate is my favourite. We love the tapas.

Lauren83 · 12/11/2019 21:31
