Off to Amsterdam soon. Just booked a weekend in Seville for January. Got an absolute bargain flight.
Where are you all off to next?

(and I haven't flown since 1992 or been out of the UK since 1999...)

Paso Robles, CA for dh’s 50th in February, and Atlanta for Labor Day weekend are already booked. Tentatively planning a trip home to the UK in March, St Augustine FL in June, and Portugal in November. Just got back from Iceland, which I highly recommend

Off to Spain on the 23rd for a week, it’s sunny and 20c currently. Then 5 nights in NYC from the 27th Dec, taking 15 year old DD for the first time.

Hi #Travelfan.

We're looking at Troll Expeditions and Extreme Iceland for our trips. Have a close look because they all have slightly different itineraries and you might prefer one.

I'm tempted by Troll because they play Icelandic music in the minibus which might be fun!

It looks like the expense in Iceland is the trips and day-to-day living. Our flights and apartment rental were very cheap.

Thanks so much WhiteroseThat’s really helpful. Loving the Icelandic music vibe😀

Just got back from Portugal. Going to Paris next weekend, Canada in December, Disney in April, Canary Islands in May and Greece in Sept. All with 3 kids under the age of 7 🙈

Can’t think of anything worse then never leaving your own country

I can think of many a bad thing, not going abroad doesn't get anywhere near it.

Next holiday is next summer, but this week I have a two day work conference. It is only 45 miles away, but I'm grabbing that baby with both hands and have paid for a Travelodge to stop overnight. (Work won't pay as I could travel each day) That's a good a break as I get. A conference, wander around the city centre, tea on my own, bed to myself, wi-fi and a cooked breakfast to boot. What's not to like?
