I’m just watching TOTP from 1988 and Kim Wilde’s on.

I’m sure she’s a lovely woman, but fuck me, the lass couldn’t sing. Or dance. Or mime.
And yet, she’s still doing the rounds, all these decades later.

Adam Sandler. Pretty much every film he’s in (bar one or two) are complete flops. Who the hell is hiring him?

Richard Madeley indeed, despair of anyone paying him to be on tv. I have to switch him off. Same with denise Van Outen, ferne cotton.

Some I dont agree with, like Tom Cruise, definitely not a follower, but definitely a good actor, and when younger good looking.

Keira Knightly is a great actor.

Sharon Osborne, now unrecognisable sadly, as there was nothing wrong with her looks before. I don't get her success at all. I thought she was a strong woman, until she plasticised her face that is.

Amanda Holden is a talented performer: Thoroughly Modern Millie & Shrek etc. Also incredibly driven.

I’m guessing a really good agent (who knows where the bodies are buried).

I can’t think of anyone off the top of my head at the moment.

But pop groups are a class of their own surely? That’s often about who you know, if you look good, and can you spin a decent story.

Anyone who's famous for being on Telly without a niche. So all those reality TV people ('can't sing, can't dance, can't act but will take clothes off for money') or Style Gurus who haven't taken any form of qualification.

Famous for being Famous, and usually because daddy has money or influence.

Because he is a fictional person.
I could understand if someone said they didn't like Leigh Francis or the character Keith Lemon but people are writing as if he is a real person and that is how he behaves. It's like saying they don't understand why Audrey Roberts or Gail Platt is on tv

Keith Lemon was how he presented himself, so the name's stuck, much like Ali G/borat.
