I’m just watching TOTP from 1988 and Kim Wilde’s on.

I’m sure she’s a lovely woman, but fuck me, the lass couldn’t sing. Or dance. Or mime.
And yet, she’s still doing the rounds, all these decades later.

I've seen kim Wilde live and I can assure you she can absolutely sing. She's talented,

But my immediate thought is also Amanda Holden, she's just so screechy and unlikeable. I really think it's her relationship with cowell that's keeping her employed. All I can say is someone somewhere must have liked her enough to over look her obvious lack of any form of talent.

So what is the reason why the BBC wont use Aled Jones Ihatethecold? No point in half a story.

Aled was removed from BBC programmes due to his behaviour in a hot tub with other staff from the bbc.
Let’s just say he said his foot slipped. The woman he did it to didn’t agree with this.

Twatty Wallace thinks it’s funny to call in lower level staff to his dressing room where they would find him not dressed properly!
I’m sure you can work out what I mean.

I'm defending Nigella Lawson though. Her cookbooks are brilliant. The TV shows are verging on parody admittedly but she can really write about food.

I think Nigella has embraced the parody. She writes so well and her food is lovely.

He cant act and is the same in everything. He just plays himself. I wasted an hour watching ‘Ghost Stories’ on Netflix the other nigh. Utter shit.*

Every character he's played has just been Martin Freeman in a variety of different situations.

I don't think you can justify critiquing amanda holden if all you've watched is BGT

What have so many actively got against her. She's an accomplished actor.

I truly despair is Nigella, after her experiences, has embraced that parody thats grotesque to suggest.

Remember A Room With A View, the scene in a cornfield where he sweeps Helena BC up and kisses her...that's the best acting the man has ever done, ever.

Also, and I say this as a fan since their first hit, but Neil Tennant cannot sing in tune without the benefit of computers. I watched 3 minutes of the live show that was on a couple of months ago and switched off in shame.

Years back, I saw Amanda Holden in Thoroughly Modern Millie in the West End, and she was astonishingly good. She is a genuine talent in musical theatre.

Annie Lennox – she'd turn up to the opening of an envelope if there was another 'celeb' there to gurn over
Keira Knightly – for all the reasons already mentioned

Oh and Mick Hucknall. Apparently he has a massive penis but that doesn't make up for the awful singing and the annoying face.

Miriam Margoyles? She doesn't think she's cool or edgy at all, she gives zero fucks to cool and edgy. She's fab.

Good to see a lot of names I agree with - especially Madonna and Kylie, never understood how they could be classed as ‘singers’ considering they can’t hold a note in tune. ‘Entertainers’ would be a far more accurate description of what they both do.

I’ve always wondered how such terrible ‘actors’ in soaps stay for so long - like Samia Ghadia/Smith/Longchambon for example. I’m guessing it’s not her ‘acting’ skills that keep her employed but her pretty face! So many bad soap actors with pointlessly dull characters that stay for years and years - I just don’t get it!

All reality ‘stars’ from the likes of TOWIE, Love Island, Gogglebox etc. Vacuous wastes of space the lot of them!

Tess Daley - she has no talent or personality and is just a robot

Tim Lovejoy - not funny and looks like he'd rather be anywhere else than on Sunday Brunch.

all the presentrs of Food uwrapped - especially Matt Tebbutt - bland and annoying
Tom Cruise - has one intense facial expression and that's it!

Just shows how different things appeal to different folk - agree with loads on here, but all those who said Michael McIntyre or Ant & Dec need to wash their mouths (keyboards?) out with soap.

David Walliams makes my skin crawl, so he'd definitely be on my list.

Rylan an interesting one - on the radio, I cannot bear him, but actually saw him on some crap game show the other day and he was quite likeable. No clue where he sprung from though, so that's about all I've ever seen of him on TV.
