Is there already a thread about the instamum dramas involving MoD today?

It was her live stories, not the written ones. Yes she said she would have knocked her teeth out, she was ranting like a woman possessed. I t doesn't in any way detract from what MOD has done, but IMO overreaction was threatening behaviour. I don't agree that her whole account was deleted, but the wokers either didn't see those stories or are just trying to jump on the bandwagon for extra followers.

*her reaction

Just having a look you can see people tagging the hospital to hold a meeting Monday morning. Terrifying that it’s gone this far imo.

Ah, I'm not on twitter.

Wemake · 10/11/2019 22:22

Not on twitter either so can’t see it.

Crikey it’s all going nuts. Can’t look away... should, but can’t!

BlackMUMba · 10/11/2019 22:26

Kelechi is rightfully mad about the whole thing as she and CB are acquaintances/friends. I watched her stories (before her account got deleted) and I feel angry about it too.

How could CH have CB on her podcast AFTER making those racist comments on tattle??

I wonder if it's only "overreacting" when certain people voice their concerns.

Wemake · 10/11/2019 22:31

I’m a person of colour. Don’t like CH or CB’s accounts for very different reasons.

Never heard of Kelechi before, so wanted to know what she said before forming an opinion.

sniffingthewax · 10/11/2019 22:51

Kelechi seemed much more riled up about the issue than Candice, who appears to have moved on on the grid. I totally get that they were hurt/furious/shocked/devastated, but IMO making violent threats is not the way forward. I got the impression Kele was enjoying the attention.

legoiseverywhere · 10/11/2019 22:51

CH doesn't have to like CB but she shouldn't have used CBs diversity to tick a box & boost her own brand.

sniffingthewax · 10/11/2019 22:53

Black I agree it's disgusting, she obviously was not very interested in learning about CB's lived experience, says just wanted the podcast as it was a current topic.

BlackMUMba · 10/11/2019 23:01

I think if you're not attuned to how Kelechi comes across (not a "follower"), especially when it's something triggering/upsetting etc it may come off as extreme but to be honest this is an extreme sitch.

People should be concerned and outraged regarding the stats with black women dying 5x more likely than white women during childbirth. Racial bias and the medical world (in regards to CH being a midwife holding these views) are extremely dangerous.

HabbyHadno · 11/11/2019 00:09

Wow, this keeps blowing up more and more.
MOD can't come back from this - surely? Also, really disliked her husband's flippant 'business as usual tomorrow' post. I think they both need to admit defeat here.

HowlsMovingBungalow · 11/11/2019 05:06

@CadyHeron Seems the Moderators/owners of Tattle do a pretty good job of troll hunting I mean, they let everyone know that MOD's wasn't who she said she was.

Tooearlyforcrackers · 11/11/2019 06:55

You can say oh well how can she have CB on her podcast after saying what she did but same thing can be said for most of the people Alice slagged off: how can she promote DLAM's jumpsuit after saying she sells her clothes and pockets the money rather than give it charity? How can she have Mercer7 at her jewellery launch if she thinks she is intolerable? How could CB or DLAM or Mercer7 not have known they said those things about them anyway? Alice being suspected to be Mod was pretty common knowledge on tattle from months ago. CB's husband had been on the tattle threads earlier in the year, I find it hard to believe they didn't know what had been said about them, yet they were all still happy to use MOD's platform when it suited them. The whole world of instagram is toxic.

MintyT · 11/11/2019 07:20

How did this all blow up, how was she found out I cannot find out

HowlsMovingBungalow · 11/11/2019 07:24

@MintyT I presume someone from Tattle HQ outed her on their site - they are the only ones that know IP Addresses and personal info on Tattle members.

stupidis · 11/11/2019 07:29

@MintyT some users realised that her syntax was the same and that they were posting from the same spots - St Lucia I think, etc

legoiseverywhere · 11/11/2019 07:31

how can she promote DLAM's jumpsuit after saying she sells her clothes and pockets the money rather than give it charity?

Did she say that? Wow! Fair enough she wanted to disguise it was her but surely she could have said things about influencers who weren't her friends or things about her friends/Simon that were not so close to the bone.

Tooearlyforcrackers · 11/11/2019 07:33

The users could only have made educated guesses, based on what and how she wrote. This is no different to what happened on MN. The location could only have been identified by the site administrators.

Tooearlyforcrackers · 11/11/2019 07:34

What she said about DLAM seems to be true though? Should could have said a lot worse. I thought that was pretty tame.

legoiseverywhere · 11/11/2019 07:39

I just went & looked at the first OD thread on Tattle (Dec 2018). Mods alias was the 9th post on that thread. Her apology makes no sense as clearly she must have been using Tattle before the threads about her even appeared!

legoiseverywhere · 11/11/2019 07:42

What she said about DLAM seems to be true though? Should could have said a lot worse. I thought that was pretty tame.

I don't think that's the point though. You don't slag off your "friends" on a site you want closed down for trolling & play the victim. It's incredibly snide & hypocritical particularly when your brand is built on authenticity.

HowlsMovingBungalow · 11/11/2019 07:43

Instamum loves a bit of gossip, website makes money from instagram gossip, both get mentioned in worldwide news, both get more visitors ... Hmm

BanKittenHeels · 11/11/2019 07:53

I don’t really know anything about data management but are website owners allowed to disclose the location of a poster? Is that mismanagement of data?

HowlsMovingBungalow · 11/11/2019 07:58

Fuck knows Ban, I have always got some shady vibes from Tattle HQ. I have read that certain Instagrammers have had a dig about ( when Tattle hit the news over the petition to shut Tattle down ) over who runs the site but ?.
