What has been your ‘oh my god’ moments in celebrity gossip?

Mine have been:

• Jay-Z and Solange in the elevator
• Detective Coleen Rooney making her case
• Kanye West ‘imma let you finish’ with Taylor Swift

They all genuinely shocked me when reported, and for the love of twitter VardyGate was fantastic.

And before anyone gets in, yes I have got a life, I just enjoy celebrity gossip as a bit of freedom from the day to day. But well done on you for not caring and being better than me

Annas because there's gossip, then there's being an absolute arsehole just because you 'heard' something. And people shouldn't have their personal business speculated on (Peter Kay) or be slandered (David Jason) for the sake of gossip. It's libel but we all understand slander. If the local gossip had 'heard' something about you/ friend/ family member and put it on a local FB page or in the local paper you'd be ok with that?

Slander is oral defamation - saying or speaking untrue things about people that damages their reputation.

The Leaving Neverland documentary really got me. It’s so obvious when you watch it and so sad for those men. I remember the trials on tv and how everyone stood up for Michael Jackson, even though he was so odd.

Guy slander is used more often to mean both, I've seen on here people saying libel and posters saying it isn't because libel is only used in circulated printed form like in newspapers, I know the definition myself.

Norma thanks but I have nothing to report, I'm just asking that some might consider that gossip goes too far sometimes. And that if you have no real source for your gossip that you might consider it mightn't be true considering some of the nasty things being said. Because 'slebs' are real people you know.
