What has been your ‘oh my god’ moments in celebrity gossip?

Mine have been:

  • Jay-Z and Solange in the elevator
  • Detective Coleen Rooney making her case
  • Kanye West ‘imma let you finish’ with Taylor Swift

They all genuinely shocked me when reported, and for the love of twitter VardyGate was fantastic.

And before anyone gets in, yes I have got a life, I just enjoy celebrity gossip as a bit of freedom from the day to day. But well done on you for not caring and being better than me Wink

Also, Julia Roberts did that very tacky ‘Hello Vera’ after her current husband left his wife, Vera, for her Hmm so she’s a dick.

What do people think ( those of us old enough to remember) really happened to Natalie wood. I’ve always been fascinated with this. Was RW involved. I’ve always thought so

Case keeps being reexamined. CW has always cooperated and given new statements to police, but RW has refused and stays tight lipped. Her death was recently given “suspicious” status, and RW named a person of interest. There was a loud quarrel the night she died, but reports as to whom it was between have varied. Oh, and she was in love with CW and RW was jealous. Allegedly!

She was instead being treated for an addiction to diet pills in rehab.

You note that she never talks about her brush with 'smellaria' anymore, despite the illness having long term side effects that last years...

Also, she's gay.

These threads always descend into such nastiness. Leave Peter Kay alone, he's never courted publicity as such, he deserves privacy. The 'Aussie singer' who is supposedly HIV+ and that's why she hasn't had kids is just nastiness when she's said she can't because of her cancer treatment. The 'friend' of Meghan's nanny, really? It's either bollocks or the nanny will never work amongst the highest paying employers again, how difficult is that one to work out if you're on their team? The Epstein 'coroner' is not the coroner in his case at all, he was hired by the Epstein family if you mean the man who made the allegations about his death not being suicide. All this 'I heard..', 'I read..' where did you hear/ read? On here? On another anonymous forum? Also, 'hearing' that 'the fool' has an injunction against him liking young boys- the legal system doesn't work like that. If he's done something illegal and the victim has come forward there is no injunction that can prevent it being reported.

Mr Fuel is VD - I don’t think he had anything to do with the guns, just from this thread alone I think that was Cokey Moss and Pirate JD. But this is all speculation from this bloody thread, which I love and hate all at the same time.

Off to read the Ronan punchgate!

I don't disagree mars I'm probably guilty of overinvestment in goss threads but it is quite frustrating as an element of posts that majorly cross the line always emerges sadly.

And here we are, we just had a poster saying a girl band member cough cough let's be vague saying she actually was treating said girl band member for Smallaria and then here we have a poster who has it on 'good authority' that said girl band member in fact had an addiction to diet pills.
I heard she didn't have either and it was all a publicity stunt with her wrapped up on the sofa watching Friends the whole time- which of us (if any) is telling the truth?

I agree Mamas, and have tried to avoid commenting on anything I feel has crossed a line - in the hopes it gets lost in the thread, which a number of them have.

However, if you feel any of my posts have discussed some of the darker sides please feel free to report and accept my apologies. I started this thread with the best intentions for some light ‘oh my god’ moments, not to discuss people’s illness, mental health or vicious attacks. (Except the Solange one which I mentioned in my OP because it was reported everywhere!)

The Cheryl story was posted earlier upthread and debunked further on by an employee of the hospital she was treated in.

Considering the rumour is definitely bollocks, the delivery of it was unnecessary.

I read on here that Judy was in the later stages of dementia earlier this year but yet there she was on This Morning the other day, reading off the autocue and behaving like a perfectly healthy broadcaster!

It's not your fault isay, it's just that always these threads turn into 'I heard..' from where? I have said this before under a nc because I am very lucky to have a 'celebrity' that I know very well and it's hurtful. Really hurtful when all this gossip is unfounded. Imagine being David Jason's family member and reading the unfounded stuff that's been alluded to on here? If he were your dad or husband or fil?

I was about to help people that the fuel was not petrol (its the other fuel) in case they didn't get it.

Also I worked in media and many of the stories on here are true, but much, much worse stuff is covered up.

Vanya why is the poster who 'worked in the hospital' any more reliable? This is my point, can a hospital worker debunk theories or is patient confidentiality so important they are not allowed to? It's the second. If they did so they absolutely should be sacked.

It's not that surprising that posters aren't saying where they read or heard stories from - the people with access to gossipy stories usually rely on discretion for their livelihood.
I heard one of the stories on this thread because my friend worked in a newsroom. I was on a call with them, the day the incident happened and it was all anyone was talking about in their London office. But there wasn't a sign of it in the media.
