Thinking of buying this house... but not sure it's got enough plug sockets?

It is an odd one
I assume some sort of it base running from there but surely you'd pay someone to come in and remove them before selling the house?

QueenWhatevs · 04/11/2019 10:04

I... just... WTF? 😂

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 04/11/2019 10:04

Haha that’s ridiculous/ hideous!

SarahTancredi · 04/11/2019 10:06

😂😂😂

Wilmalovescake · 04/11/2019 10:12

That is so bizarre!

RoseToes · 04/11/2019 10:13

I have no words😂

poorbuthappy · 04/11/2019 10:13

That made me laugh!

ScreamingCosArgosHaveNoRavens · 04/11/2019 10:13

Well, I think you could safely get rid of all your extension leads and multi-plug adapters before moving in!

cathpinc · 04/11/2019 10:14

They're even in the bedroom!

Oh, wait.

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 04/11/2019 10:14

I would reconsider @Nobhobs definitely not enough 😂

Letthemysterybe · 04/11/2019 10:15

Ah yes this popped up on mumsnet last week. I need an explanation, it’s been bugging me!

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 04/11/2019 10:15

This was viral on Twitter with that exact comment at the weekend, the comments on there are gold.

Nobhobs · 04/11/2019 10:24

Yes twitter thread was gold, had to share. Didn't know there'd been a MN thread though, oops!

I just can't think why you'd ever need THAT many Grin

OP posts:
MarshaBradyo · 04/11/2019 10:25

Haha it’s like a rash

DryHeaving · 04/11/2019 10:33

I'm curious to know why they needed that many, it's bizarre

EleanorReally · 04/11/2019 10:35

someone miscalculated!

BarbaraofSeville · 04/11/2019 10:37

I knew it would be about this house. I saw an extract of the twitter thread in one of the online newspapers piece on it.

The one I liked best was 'did this house used to be an electrician's training school'? Grin.

A relative of mine bought a small terraced house that had 13 double sockets in the only bedroom, but this is something else.

GreyGardens88 · 04/11/2019 10:38

Cannabis farm

1984isnow · 04/11/2019 10:39

It looks so passive aggressive 😂 like someone kept moaning about not having enough when they first moved in, and when it came to upgrading the other one thought 'you want plugs? I'll give you fucking plugs'

SirGawain · 04/11/2019 10:39

It’s a redundant nuclear bunker😚

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 04/11/2019 10:44

Thought you were going to be exaggerating, but no Grin. They seem to have forgotten to put a socket in the grass though, so it’s a no from me.

Nobhobs · 04/11/2019 10:49

Greygardens Cannabis farm did cross my mind but surely they'd be a bit more discreet and remove them? Confused

OP posts:
BareKneesDeCourcy · 04/11/2019 10:54

Clearly owned by people who had an Amish upbringing and have rebelled rather wildly.

JenniR29 · 04/11/2019 10:58

Personally I’m jealous, my 1960’s built house has only two plug sockets per room!

But yeah it’s totally a cannabis farm!

Zaphodsotherhead · 04/11/2019 11:03

I'd be tempted to break in, plug a load of lamps in and run away...

They must have been forced to sell by an unexpectedly large electricity bill.
