Just for fun if anything

I would say I was known as the quiet kid who supported Bolton.

For baking cakes to bring to geography lessons. And occasionally skipping morning classes to stay home and bake the cakes so they were freshly baked rather than from the day before.

An honours student who liked drama and was bad at organised sport and who had no social life.

I was mostly he uncool, chubby, glasses wearing school hating one/

But for a brief period in second year I was cool.

I'd had an electronics kit since I was 9. Our science teacher was off sick and they didn't employ a supply so we were mostly taught in a big group with one of the other classes but because of a time table clash we had one lesson a week with no teacher, just a door open to the prep room and through that to where there was a teacher.

We were given work to do on 'electronics' and given basic electronic sets. Well I finished mine in record time and then built a version of 'buzz off' but with a light rather than a sound.

Then I showed others how to do it, and what the answers were for the homework, we spent that lesson every week playing buzz off.

If the teacher glanced in she could see 30 girls sharing an electronic kit between two with light bulb going on and off.

I/we were known as 'the xxxxx sisters'. There were 3 of us, myself, my twin, and sister in year below, never quite cool enough for the 'in gang' we were tolerated by them only because we were very good at every sport we ever tried.

BethanyGilbert · 01/11/2019 06:17

Being a twin.

I was so bad at fitting in, and got teased a lot, that I played the "weird" card a lot to survive. I was known for constantly using outdated quotes, such as "for Pete's sake" (from Thunderbirds) and "I'll do what I dashed well want to" (Roald Dahl's The Witches). I didn't watch contemporary TV, or have many friends, so I didn't know modern slang!

There was also a time at secondary when a teacher was doing a lesson on teamwork, and asked for a volunteer to be blindfolded (to put together a puzzle while guided by the others). I eagerly said I'd go first almost before he'd finished speaking! Some people told me I was grinning from ear to ear throughout. I had no idea at the time what this said about me!

School weirdo.
Possible aspie, always bullied. Severe social anxiety.

Examssuck · 01/11/2019 08:54

For being a ‘slut’ Sad

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 01/11/2019 08:59

Big tits, clever

(it was a very small school where everyone knew everyone. I'm not that clever. But I do still have huge knockers)

Ironfloor269 · 01/11/2019 09:00

For being fat.

AreWeAnywhereNear · 01/11/2019 09:10

I totally faded into the background, teachers barely knew my name. I flitted between groups, I always got along with everyone but was never really in any particular group.

Everyone knows me now though, I was so shy and quiet at school, how times change Grin

Being a bit of an arse, sarky, blunt, funny. I look back and think I was ghastly but people at school with me say I wasn't that bad...

NotQuiteUsual · 01/11/2019 09:28

Being so weird and confident about my weirdness it wasn't even worth bullying me. Annoying too.

Magnificentme · 01/11/2019 09:43

Big tits and melons I hated it even tried cellotaping them down lol
