Just for fun if anything

I would say I was known as the quiet kid who supported Bolton.

The one who's mum had died so I could get away with whatever the heck I liked. And I did.

GrouchyKiwi · 26/10/2019 21:35

The Know-it-all, but weirdly not in a bad way. I was in the nerdy group but got on with everyone. (It was an all girls school; I don't know if that contributed to the not being reviled for being a geek situation.)

AlexaAmbidextra · 26/10/2019 21:45

For being a boy magnet. And the teen girlfriend of a member of a famous 60s pop group.

Bunking off to smoke and meet boys.

ThePolishWombat · 31/10/2019 11:30

Omg yes, the selling of single cigarettes Grin 50p per straight or 25p per roll up was the going rate at my school. I also used to make a killing charging extra to the ones who wanted to buy from me but couldn’t roll it themselves Grin I’d sit on the back field with a little roll up production line going

Zaphodsotherhead · 31/10/2019 13:01

Having a big nose and spots and 'thinking I was funny'.

I now make part of my living from comedy and the spots are gone. Still got a big nose though.

AllDaySnacker · 31/10/2019 22:11

The one who looked distinctly unintelligent (the actual words would be considered offensive these days) but was consistently at / near the top in languages and maths. Also for never missing a day of school yet always feeling too unwell for PE. I was rather incongruous.

AdoreTheBeach · 31/10/2019 22:18

As the younger sister of X.

Very much depended upon whether my sister was friendly with someone as to how I was treated. Thankfully, I transferred to a different school in another town for the last few years of school where no one knew my sister.

DramaAlpaca · 31/10/2019 22:20

For being shy, useless at sports & brilliant at spelling.

TricklBOO · 31/10/2019 22:31

The swot who wrote PE / absence notes for money.

Hecateh · 31/10/2019 22:36

Dreamer, world of her own
ginger and goofy
dolly daydream
teacher's sprog

(all different schools)

Hadenoughofitall441 · 31/10/2019 22:38

Well not much really was part of the cool kids crew didn’t really have a thing, everyone knew I went scouts. Until I was in year 10 and one of my best friends lost her virginity the weekend of her birthday, it was like chinese whisper because everyone thought it was me somehow, I did have a bf at the time but I never slept with him, we did some other stuff but never that. I actually didn’t lose my virginity till 2 years later to my current bf who I’ve been with for 15 years. That day I had literally half the year ask me if I’d slept with my bf. The funny thing was half the girls asking me had already slept around.

SpiderCharlotte · 31/10/2019 22:39

Bring good at impersonating our teachers. Got me into trouble more than once.

KindOranges · 31/10/2019 22:58

The one who got away with being clever at all non-maths subjects in a really rough school purely by the fact I was in a remedial maths class with the most feared girl in the school, and we got along.

I was untouchable and got a scholarship to university. She got a prison sentence for GBH.

shitpark · 31/10/2019 23:02

Being good at everything, always winning. I don't know how I didn't get beaten up, other than the fact no one could catch me

Excitedforxmas · 31/10/2019 23:05

For wearing 2nd hand clothes

Tesbel · 31/10/2019 23:09

The fat one.. sadly the same still applies

Woulditbeworth · 31/10/2019 23:16

For having Pneumonia. Someone started a very specific and imaginative rumour about how I caught it that followed me for most of secondary school!

MangoSalsa · 31/10/2019 23:17

Being the purple haired goth who read the NME, Melody Maker and Record Mirror at lunchtimes.

WhenPushComesToShove · 31/10/2019 23:55

Smoking behind the bike sheds. Standing up to bullies

ReggaetonLente · 01/11/2019 00:30

I was a bit naughty, could be counted on to have fags/alcohol, older boyfriends etc. But i was nice to everyone, or most people, i think.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 01/11/2019 00:41

Library geek
Shit at sports
Very blunt - told various teachers I hadn't done homework because I couldn't brew bothered, rather than making up an excuse
Friends with Premier League footballers in sixth form (the boys saw me as one of the lads though despite this)
Having (much) older boyfriends who were all bouncers

MrsFezziwig · 01/11/2019 00:53

Being a geeky swot who was totally uninterested in boys, but for some reason in a way that made me one of the cool kids rather than the target of bullying.

managedmis · 01/11/2019 00:55

Had a Caterpillar coat

Daisychainsandglitter · 01/11/2019 05:45

For being a goth with my black hair, new rocks and long trench coat. Someone drew a series of drawings of me on the exam tables during our GCSE's. Also for bunking off a lot and smoking.
Despite this I got very good exam results and I'm quite conformist now although still bit of a rock chick.
