What were you known for in school?

I would say I was known as the quiet kid who supported Bolton.

Forgery, I used to write absence notes for all my mates. I was known as "school forger"! I'm secretly proud that at a recent reunion someone reminded me of this (40 years later!).

I was known as the very quiet 'weird' spotty girl, whatever the weather I would keep my coat on as I felt safe in it when I was made fun off or pushed around, I was also a loner, ate alone and just walked around at break/dinner times on my own....

Oh but how times have changed!

For having bright red hair, and being a choir geek

Being able to sneak out of school 😂 none of the teachers ever figured out how I got out as they would stand at the exits. Not sure if they ever figured out that at the back of the field I could fit between the gate and fence and shuffle my way out the gap.
The rest of my year always seemed baffled that I never mentioned my pregnancy and just rocked up one day with a large bump.

Even in year 11 some boy kicked off making some bother with me saying some shit like "I'm gonna fucking deck you" (or some bollock) and I just looked amused and said "you're going to fight me?" and then was like "oh shit, I don't wanna mess with you Binary.. you'll destroy me"

Fuck knows why they thought a weedy 16 yo girl could utterly destroy and built 16 yo lad

My nickname was Flexitime because I bunked off so much so I guess that's how I'm remembered. And for being told off by the headmaster for wearing my tie round my head like Rambo, while he was walking some parents around.

I miss those days!

Having loads of brothers, I have 7 actual brothers, but also had 5 boy cousins that lived with us, so some thought I had 12 brothers!

In last few years of secondary, I was the girl who's cousin was an international rugby player...... funny how many people who had previously taken no interest in me, suddenly wanted to be my best friends!
