Is it the school holidays where you are?

Hi,

It is half term here - Nottinghamshire, and I was looking at places to take my 3 year old to (Thomas land, cbbies land, think tank in Birmingham are all possibilities)
Is it half term where you are? Thinking about how busy it will be! Thanks!

Yes it's half term here in Cumbria. It's half term in Blackpool too (my nieces are there), but not in Newcastle (nephews).

In Derbyshire and they don't break up till friday. Places will probably be busy but not as crazy as in the summer holidays.

Thanks everyone just trying to decide whether to brave it or not! Any of you been to Thomas land/Cbeebies/think tank? Would you recommend?

I'm Derbyshire and they don't break up until Friday. You could do Gulliver's Kingdom/heights of Abraham as you're pretty close by.

Me and DD have been to Thomas Land, really enjoyed it. It is quite small but went in the main park too for the carousel, boat ride etc. We went a couple of years ago on the first weekend of the summer holidays and it wasn't packed out or anything.

Lancs and yes we're off this week. We wanted to pop to Leeds for the day on Wednesday and there is nothing on in the city for half term as it's a different week. Such a pain.

Thomas land and think tank are great! And it's not half term in Birmingham this week. There's also the lego discovery Centre in Birmingham, which I've not been to but heard great things about.

Never been to cbeebies land.
