This will probably bring people out the woodwork to say they hate so and so celebrity but who are the ones that you never really hear a bad word said about them? My nomination is: Dolly Parton.

I hated Terry Wogan. Hated him.

Samcro · 21/10/2019 10:45

and I still love Bowie

TSSDNCOP · 21/10/2019 10:50

Dolly, David, Trevor, Tom, The Boss

This thread struck a memory chord.
When this photo came out I thought “take that fucker Law out, helicopter me in and I’d die happy right there”.

Not a fan of Beyoncé or Lady Gaga, most people seem to adore them.

Also David’s are usually quite popular but perhaps not politicians named David...

I do love Jennifer Aniston.

ShirleyPhallus · 21/10/2019 11:21

I really dislike Will Smith. Think it’s as a result of his totally bratty children and all the rumours of the open relationship that slightly annoys me he does this “good guy, strong family morals” act

I worked with Gino D’Campo for something and he was awful, totally unprofessional and very arrogant. His management wouldn’t agree to any meet and greets or anything that wasn’t really high profile as they said he just wouldn’t turn up for it basically.

BritishHorrorStory · 21/10/2019 11:48

I don't think she's been listed yet but I'd add Britney Spears. There are loads of people that dislike her music and/or image but never heard anyone say or read anything bad about her personally.

Carrie Fisher! Everyone loved Carrie Fisher.

GinghamChicken · 21/10/2019 14:09

The lovely Noel Fielding. And another vote for Timothy West and Prunella Scales.

Mrsjayy · 21/10/2019 14:43

Aww yeah Carrie

highlandcoo · 21/10/2019 15:18

I was never a fan, but he fell further in my estimation after I learned that he was paid thousands of pounds for hosting Children in Need. When little old ladies were scraping together a fiver to contribute, it was unimpressive that TW, already on a sarary of £800k per annum, was trousering another ten grand instead of giving his time for nothing as I believe the other hosts did Sad

purplepalace · 21/10/2019 15:21

I disagree about Will Smith...I can't stand him, the way he's always trying to push his kids into the spotlight and make them famous.

Whitney168 · 21/10/2019 15:25

@Artesia, you're a lone voice against Graham, so I'm ignoring you LOL

Whyismycatanasshat · 21/10/2019 16:04

Kate Adey, lovely lady.

Ponoka7 · 21/10/2019 16:16

TSSDNCOP, even with, Hugh-I'm partial to prostitutes-Grant and Tom-weird Scientologist-Cruise?

TSSDNCOP · 21/10/2019 16:18

I never said it, or I, was perfect or rational Ponoka

JaneJeffer · 21/10/2019 16:21

Rudolph Walker

Ponoka7 · 21/10/2019 16:22

I'd forgotten Lionel Blair.

My DD, as a child was involved with charity performances and LB was lovely to everyone and hard working.

FreeBedForFlys · 21/10/2019 16:22

Whoever mentioned the Siddiquis first - I think you have a winner.

I cannot imagine ANYONE being able to dislike or criticise them.

AlanRickmanslovely · 21/10/2019 16:25

I don't have enough bad words to use against Sandi Toksvig and Stephen Fry - vile....vile...VILE!

But my username should give you a clue as to who I think must have been one of the nicest folk

NigesFakeWalkingStick · 21/10/2019 16:54

I miss the late, great Carrie Fisher. I'm sure she could be a pain in the ass about things but she and Mark Hamill were my first loves, so I'll say both of em.

NigesFakeWalkingStick · 21/10/2019 16:54

Ahh @GrouchyKiwi beat me to it Grin

RosaRi · 21/10/2019 17:00

Julie Walters!

LittleSweet · 21/10/2019 17:06

Laura Linney. She seems a really gracious and intelligent. She's doing a show with Armistead Maupin in London, and I can't go. I'd love to see both of them speak.

SarahSissions · 21/10/2019 17:24

Monty Don

SeedyM · 21/10/2019 17:25

Not keen on Michael Cain - there was a documentary about him and he came across as an uncomfortable combination of really chippy and arrogant.
