These were well worth a read. I cant imagine the S*n's naff secret WAG bit comes close. And since when did they bother to take down lies? surely that would put every single issue at risk if the were consistent

That is interesting. But sadly only because it confirms the obvious. The wags are in a gilded cage, the footballers know they can do what they like and the wives wont leave them. They may leave them at a time of their choosing. The women who don't hit the wag lifetime jackpot can just turn up to nightclubs hoping for a ons that they can sell to the papers, or at the very least a free night out.

I'm just baffled by the concept of a 'private' Instagram account .

Surely if you want to keep stuff private you erm don't share it on social media with numerous people? My Facebook account is 'private' but if I shared stuff on it that got out that would be my own fault for putting it on there.

I really don't understand why Colleen didn't just take a bit of personal responsibility and stop sharing all this nonsense and hunting out the 'culprit'. It also doesn't prove that RV's account is where all the so-called 'leaks' are from. Just makes them both look a bit daft I think.

I think well kown people are entitled to personal SM accounts if they want to interact with friends and family. The public ones are for fans and for public scrutiny, surely even a Wag is entitled to a bit of privacy to enjoy instagram without it appearing in the papers.

But normal people aren't entitled to that privacy?

I have a situation going on at the minute at work. If I posted about this on my 'private' account removing my line manager from seeing it and it backfired everyone would say that is my fault. Really bizarre double standards.

People also talk about stuff - that story with the water in the basement was the dullest thing ever. If I saw that on social media posted by a friend it would never occur to me it was meant to be a secret. I could easily just have a conversation about it, not thinking it was particularly important and bam that person runs to the sun.

That isn't what I said of course ordinary people are entitled to privacy You putting something on facebook about your work would have personal consequences for you. . CR telling her private followers friends and family she is going on holiday or had a flood in her basement then it appearing in the tabloids isn't the same at all.

It does have personal consequences for her - it ends up in the paper due to her 'work'. It's exactly the same as far as I can see. If you want to keep stuff private do that, don't share it with 100+ 'friends' on Instagram and then be surprised when it gets out. If you don't like someone unfriend/ block them don't cause this ridiculous rumpus and hate campaign.

I think the difference here is it's likely RV is using CR stories to negotiate with the press for her own personal gain. Its not the same as a friend telling another person about your home flooding.

It's also not only about what you post on Instagram. If someone was selling/using stories about me from social media than I would sure believe if I told them something in person they would also do the same if they thought they could get away with it. So I'd want to know who it was to cut them out of my life.

I feel like I am arguing the toss imo RV or her team were just out for themselves and were caught I don't think Colleen Rooney should be responsible for RV or team being an envious spiteful cowbag
