I used to work o PR and I can tell you this is not new! A member of a European royal family and a HUGE British boyband did exactly.what Coleen did to determine which if their 'friends' were selling stories on them.I both cases neither of them.needed the money it was just some weird power stuff going on...

Commenting on a thread to say you aren't interested in that thread is like interrupting a conversation you have overheard to tell the people involved you aren't interest in what the are talking about. Weird and silly thing to do.

In both cases they spoke directly to the accused and then told their inner circle. There was strong evidence in both cases and said people were ostracized by the group.

Never liked Vardy when I saw her in 'I'm a celeb' a few years back. She seemed a bit snarky, catty, and two-faced, and disingenuous.

Vardy is pretty average in the grand scheme of football. He also bloomed very late for a striker and since his game is based all around pace he has a couple of years left at the top, if that. Leicester arnt a 'top team', which is why it was such a big thing them winning the league. Rooney, much as I hate him, is up there with Englands best ever forwards, has a huge Beckhamesque following abroad with the sponsors that brings and was on something like £350,000 a week for years at Man UTD. No comparison.

Colleen has managed to make this Vardy woman a household name.

I doubt anyone outside the UK knew who she was, prior.

So she's certainly raised her profile. And as they say, no publicity is bad publicity.

Blind Gossip have covered this story today. They say it is 100% Rebekah who leaked the stories and she has also leaked stories about other footballers/wives and is the Secret Wife - the Sun is now in crisis talks as their source of info will stop.

Was also going to post about Vardy being the spitting image of Steptoe but I see someone has already covered that
