I heard about this much earlier today but only just on Twitter now. Love these!

Missing the point but Rebekah is a Biblical name, wife of Isaac for anyone doubting if it's a legit name. I picked it as my Confirmation name as I didn't want Mary, Bernadette or Theresa!

Oooh, scandalous! I love it! 😁 Yes clearly in an ideal world they'd be out plugging their 'celeb status' to support saving the rainforest's, promoting world peace, yada yada. Instead of school girl dramas... HOWEVER! It is highly amusing and no doubt the backlash will continue to offer some amusing lighthearted entertainment to us mean mortals who aren't married/dating men who make their living playing with their balls.

@kateandme What could she possibly sue her for? She didn't sign a legal non disclosure to be part of CR's 'inner circle twitter group'. CR has just publicly pulled her on being a gossip/sell story teller, which is highly embarrassing! But there's no laws broken.

Vardy is The Suns Secret Wag in The Sun, the Journalist who wrote the fake story about Coleen's flooded basement is friends with Rebekah on Insta. She has sold 2 story's about another Celeb in the last 2 weeks, confirmed by her mum to me yesterday.

kateandme Coleen has been in the public eye a long time. She has been praised, criticised and pitied at the hands of the media and knows how this type of thing works. She is not going to do something like this without having sought expert legal advice before posting a message like that on social media. Thats why it probably doesent directly accuse Rebekah but says the leaks came from her account. Notice how Rebekah has now said she her lawyers will conduct a digital forensic investigation into who has accessed her account and not been shouting libel, defamation etc?

I would imagine that one of the first things Coleen asked her lawyers was what could she do to make Rebekah stop selling stories and how could she expose her - could she sue her? It could be very difficult to prove that the leaks came from her even though Coleen clearly seems certain. Unless the S*n confirmed it was Rebekah it all could be denied. Even worse would be Vardy countersuing for defamation and winning (I'm sure I have used the wrong terms as I'm not a lawyer)

Maybe this was the only way she could guarantee the leaks would stop and get a kind of revenge.

Not to criticise Colleen but her expose is very well written and clear - I suspect her lawyer edited it.

Also I don't think Coleen could actually sue Rebekah for leaking any stories to the media that Coleen had previously put on her own Instagram. She could hardly argue it was breaching her privacy if the stories were published by her on a social media platform (private or not) in the first place.

It's great fun this.

I think Coleen "Wagatha" Rooney and Rebekah deserve a medal for services to the public for the sheer entertaining value with all the other horrible news all around.

I follow Colleen on social media and saw her post around 15 mins after she made it. Jaw dropped open. You have to give it to her, what a way to expose the Judas in your circle.

If Vardy has done this - and let's face it, it looks probable then she can hardly complain. You live by the sword you die by the sword.
