Naked Attraction - I'm beyond shocked.

I was flicking through channels looking for something to watch and this came on. I had no idea it's title meant they were actually naked! What possesses anyone, man or woman to go on television completely stark naked? Is is just me who's being an old fuddy duddy to be horrified at this? The words embarrassed and cringemaking don't begin to cover it IMO.

One woman on there the other week claimed to be a Christian/Churchgoer, and part of the Choir (Could have been the same one you saw @IDontDrinkTea )

I fell asleep whilst watching the judge Rinder thing and woke up half way through the infamous ‘Judith’ episode, I literally couldn’t turn it off, it was like watching a car crash!

I do think a lot of the younger participants are going to grow to regret it, especially with the internet it’s out there for everyone to see for ever. I know someone who made a bit of a tug of themselves on a tv game show about 20 years ago and he got recognised in the street a few times and he found that bad enough, at least he wasn’t naked!

Meh, it's a naked body, we've all got one underneath our clothes . I personally couldn't/wouldn't be completely naked on TV myself but I don't get freaked out by those who choose to do it. Obviously the programme is made for light entertainment, but behaviours modelled and the way contestants (?) are dealt with is respectful and it's not done in a salacious kind of manner, I don't think. It's been running for years now and seems to be a bit of a niche/under the radar programme, as in it hasn't made waves or tried to be or do more than it says on the tin such as making celebs of the contestants etc. As a PP says, it's not an erotic show.

I personally think it's often less about the level of nakedness that makes something shocking, than the slant, language, overt sexuality etc subtext. There are plenty of programmes which show a lot less of a human body but manage to be far more salacious/grubby/disrespectful than this one.

I like the bit where the two finalists have to critique each other's bodies. The presenter says "So what do you think of each other?" and the naked people invetitably say "you have lovely eyes", and "I like the tattoo of a skull on your arm".

Then the picked comes out naked and they all sort of stand their awkwardly looking at each other. With the presenter fully dressed asking "is his willy big enough for you?".

I do watch it sometimes. It's awful but funny.

I have never in my life seen anything like that episode. I’ve watched NA once or twice before and had no intention of watching much more but we were flicking through the channels a couple of weeks ago and heard some of the stuff Judith was coming out with and ended up watching with our mouths opened.

The woman who got them dancing as she (apparently a grade 8 pianist) played a hymn with one finger, was so open about cocks and girth and her own ‘pussy’- I couldn’t decide whether to cringe, or be impressed by her confidence.

Ha ha OP I was the same as you when I first saw it - I stumbled across it in exactly the same way and I was like this And I’m in my 40s (just!).

But I was quite impressed in a way, that actually they don’t all look like models and people’s bodies are all so different, and I found it quite reassuring. (Apart from them almost all being de-pubed.)

At the same time I remain gobsmacked that anyone goes on it, ever, and also that it was ever commissioned. It’s just so..... rude! :o

In my defense, I’m intelligent woman with a variety of hobbies and interests, but I find it strangely compelling. It’s just the range of emotions it puts me through. I swing between horror, admiration, mirth, mortification, and repulsion.

I don’t record it or anything, but if it comes on while I’m browsing and home alone so nobody can judge me I have to watch to the end.

The factual bit in the middle always cracks me up.
