Just that. I was asked the same question in a survey earlier and chose "all creatures great & small" and was wondering what other people would like to see again?

I'd also love to see Blackadder, The Young Ones, Robin Hood, Cagney & Lacey, Auf Wiedersehen, Pet and basically anything from the 80's Grin

Arthur Hailey’s Hotel was one of my favourites too

Heartbeat is a must and thanks to Prime, All Saints.

Only fools would be amazing but would never be the same.

Crime watch is a must and ohhh I've just remembered, Last of the Summer Wine!! Loved that!!

@00q007

I still feel cross about the last episode of Merlin!!!

I miss Heartbeat too but I'd already stopped watching it when the Aunt Peggy character was introduced, I was transfixed by the fake teeth the actress wore.

Another on I'd want to bring back is As If . My t4 Sunday morning favourite. Although I don't know how it would fair now. It's another that's never been re run and no dvd release etc. One of my sisters lecturers at uni worked on it and she asked if they had anyway of getting a copy. But that was a no. Disappointing

There was a new This Life where they reunited a number of years later, at a funeral maybe? It wasn’t that good IIRC, but then again I think the original captured a moment in time, stars aligned etc, so they were never going to be able to really recapture it.

Loved North Square and agree there’s nothing legal-ly at the moment (I think there’s a new beeb thing coming but it’s more of a comedy). I also liked The Hour. 50s newsroom drama taking in the Suez Crisis etc. Romola Garai starred, in the most fantastic collection of 50s workwear.

DarlingNikita · 01/09/2019 09:02

Oh and, on the legal theme, I miss Silk.

Goodnight Sweetheart
Hustle
New Tricks (with original team)
The type of series like Lightfields and Marchlands (intriguing)
Happy Valley

MilkTrayLimeBarrel · 01/09/2019 12:46

And yes, Treasure Hunt - in original format, please! (not sure Anneka would still want to be jumping in an out of helicopters though!)

DarlingNikita · 01/09/2019 12:56

Good call on Silk.

Does anyone else miss the EastEnders omnibus? I never watched it during the week and I only pick it up now in the run up to Christmas, but I really loved getting my dinner together on a tray and chilling out in front of the Sunday omnibus.

sodrained · 01/09/2019 14:15

Does anyone remember it's a knock out I loved this as a kid

cannycat20 · 01/09/2019 14:33

Spitting Image.

Only these days it would be hard to tell if it was actually satire or not.

WildRosie · 01/09/2019 15:04

We used to watch It's A Knockout on Friday nights. Began to lose interest when the series threw in its lot with the European 'Jeux Sans Frontiers' franchise.
