Just that. I was asked the same question in a survey earlier and chose "all creatures great & small" and was wondering what other people would like to see again?

I'd also love to see Blackadder, The Young Ones, Robin Hood, Cagney & Lacey, Auf Wiedersehen, Pet and basically anything from the 80's Grin

This is your life! I used to love that show!!

Bubblysqueak · 30/08/2019 20:32

Jonathan creek , but the original with Maddie not the newer one.

Fluffiest · 30/08/2019 20:32

Yes to Firefly! I was thinking yesterday about how most great TV series peak at season 3 (Buffy, West Wing, Glee) and I suddenly thought, 'how amazing then would season three of Firefly would have been!'. Then I felt sad for awhile. Sad

And I would add Spaced to the list. That ended way to soon

And Lie to me.

The Bill! I love every era, from the early 'classic' stuff to the soap opera years, and then when they tried to make it cool and relevant... they failed, but I still enjoyed it. The characters are what made it for me, and I miss them.

EmmiJay · 30/08/2019 20:33

The Family. It used to come on channel 4. Only lasted 3 series but I loved that programme.

Mumsymumphy · 30/08/2019 20:34

I'd also like it if the concept of 'Jim'll Fix It' was brought back - but would anyone want to take that role on with all the association?

I thought it was magical. Yes, I wrote in asking to spend the day with Paul Young!

DuggeesWoggle · 30/08/2019 20:34

Yes Swizzel it was a bit frightening sometimes - I remember one where s farmer got his arm stuck in some machinery with no one around and it was going to grind his arm off if he didn't get help Shock, it was nail biting stuff but you just knew he was going to come on at the end to prove he lived to tell the tale and say how wonderful everyone was who helped.

AlexaAmbidextra · 30/08/2019 20:35

Judge John Deed. Only so I can fantasise. 😂

UnalliterativeGeorge · 30/08/2019 20:36

Maid Marian and her merry men.

EyeDrops · 30/08/2019 20:37

Home Fires, ended on such an awful cliffhanger!

I'd love to see the Krypton Factor again too...

alwaysstressed · 30/08/2019 20:39

Londons Burning on a Sunday night and when it finished you knew it was bedtime as you had school in the morning.

StumpyinSomerset · 30/08/2019 20:40

Another one for Sapphire and Steel. Still like Joanna Lumley and David McCallum now.

Redcrayons · 30/08/2019 20:40

Jim’ll Fix It would still work today. no-one in their right mind would touch it with a barge pole.

SwizzelStick · 30/08/2019 20:41

Yes, there was something strangely cosy about 999. Though I felt utterly betrayed the first time I watched an episode where someone didn't make it. It was a gas leak and one of the occupants died. I was horrified and had nightmares for months.(Still watched the show though) and I still have a phobia of gas leaks.

DollyTots · 30/08/2019 20:41

Yes to flashforward
Survivors
Whitechapel

TooMuch87 · 30/08/2019 20:42

I forgot Black Books, I’d love another series of that.

And I wish Jonathan Creek would come back for a proper series. With Maddie ideally.

Is Crimewatch not on anymore? There’s Crimewatch Roadshow in the morning, but the main show was axed a couple of years ago.

Yes to London's Burning.

Did anyone else watch Soldier Soldier?

DrWAnker · 30/08/2019 20:46

Flash Forward was really good.

Eldorado Blush. So bad but I loved it.

Knightrider/Airwolf/The A-Team type programs.

DuggeesWoggle · 30/08/2019 20:47

I had the weirdest crush on Ricky (the one who wore make up) in My So-called Life, mossberry, that ended abruptly the day I got my GCSE results. I think it was some kind of displacement of my anxiety. I seem to remember the whole programme was very angsty.

mintyroller · 30/08/2019 20:48
