Just that. I was asked the same question in a survey earlier and chose "all creatures great & small" and was wondering what other people would like to see again?

I'd also love to see Blackadder, The Young Ones, Robin Hood, Cagney & Lacey, Auf Wiedersehen, Pet and basically anything from the 80's Grin

Another vote for ER. As a Staff Nurse and having worked in Los Angeles County Hospital, I can safely say this is the most realistic of all the medical programmes. Loved the story lines and all the characters.

  • at home with the braithwaits (something like that)
  • bad girls

My mum watched these when I was younger and I loved them Grin

thismeansnothing · 31/08/2019 21:30

@Pepperstripe & @historysock it was all about Marcel Sebatier. DH even bought me one of the Harchester United shirts 😂😂

Weezol · 31/08/2019 21:42

Oh yes 'Bad Girls'.

I still think Shirley from EastEnders should be in the cellar the odd time I catch the end of an episode.

'Wentworth' is a worthy substitute.

Sewrainbow · 31/08/2019 23:01

Lovejoy! Love that show swoon

Why did they cancel Home Fires? I was really enjoying it, such a cliffhanger!

supercee · 31/08/2019 23:05

Fat fingers - posted too soon.

Was meant to say random UK destinations?).

Either way, it was a genius programme with a great theme tune and I'd like it back please.

HeroicAlien · 31/08/2019 23:28

Oh FFS it didn't even post. I'll try again.

I've watched this thread for the last day or so and not posted as I didn't think I'd have anything to add. And then I finally read it to discover nobody has mentioned Treasure Hunt.

We used to be allowed to stay up late to watch if, while DPs got out OS maps of random UK destinations - who even has those?

And then you can go to my post above requesting its return. Ta muchly.

Willow2017 · 31/08/2019 23:34

Lots of these are on Freesat.
Recently been watching Tenko.

Mine from childhood would be:
The Tomorrow People
Sapphire and Steel
Time Tunnel
Planet of the Apes the series
Follyfoit
White horses

Ever decreasing Circles
George and Mildred
The good life
Soldier soldier
Success of Duke st
When the boat comes in
Survivors
Being Human

I know many wouldn't enthrall kids these days but it's not for them😁

And I agree sat tv is crap these days. I loved sitting watching tv with my parents laughing along to Morcambe and Wise, enthralled by past times in D Of D St, All Creatures The Good Life etc . I hardly watch uk tv these days.

Firefly!

00q007 · 01/09/2019 00:11

And Merlin- but I'd wipe the last episode where Arthur dies without fulfilling the destiny they banged on about for 5 seasons and Merlin was left to live immortally without Arthur ☹️
