On the table itself bottle of water (refillable), phone, a radio and two pill boxes a week’s worth of night and morning tablets and my glasses at night. However I live alone but have a double bed which has a book, which I mean to read, two boxes of tissues and a back scratcher on it.

Fuck ton of books
Tablet/Kindle fire
Sometimes phone
Glasses
Hand cream
Actual old school radio alarm clock
Monitor so I can hear DC
Glass of water

galvantula · 12/08/2019 22:55

Oh and a lamp

galvantula · 12/08/2019 22:56

Radio alarm clock is at least 15 years old, that might be a bit of a giveaway. 😂

Dontbestupidagain · 12/08/2019 22:56

8 books in various stages of being read

But you might fall asleep with a fag on the go?!

I love a smoke, no judgement from me but smoking in bed is hardcore

georgialondon · 12/08/2019 22:58

Gro egg
Baby monitor
Box of tissues
Hair clip
Bottle of water

Itsallpointless · 12/08/2019 22:58

I'm loving this thread. I've actually laughed out loud reading the contents at the bedside, while looking at the pile of shite on mine, and too embarrassed to list themShock

Thistly · 12/08/2019 22:58

emergency pants, in case I have gone to bed without and have to run out of the house
I am going to instigate this! Although perhaps not on my bedside table.

My fantasy bedside table has
A book
A plant (fern?)
A lamp
A glass of water.

Orangepancakes · 12/08/2019 22:58

Daffodil2018 · 12/08/2019 23:01

Hand cream (Burt's Bees one in a pot)

StormcloakNord · 12/08/2019 23:04

Argh. Just cant imagine anything worse than smoking in your bed, bedsheets stinking of smoke and actual smoke just hanging in the air... blergh. Plus the ceiling goes all yellow.

Once moved into a house where the previous tenants smoked in bed. The stink was horrid and the ceiling was actual bright yellow. Gross.

cranstonmanor · 12/08/2019 23:04

I don't have a bedside table, instead I have a scratching post (yes we're a bit bonkers about the cat), on it is an extra blanket for if I get cold. However, I do have a long book shelf within reaching distance with several books on it, my glasses (when I go to sleep that is), photo's of my granddad and me, a painting of my mums house (home) and a teddybear that was given to us when my daughter was stillborn (much too early).

NetballHoop · 12/08/2019 23:08

I am going to seem a bit minimalist which I really am not but ...

A book
A glass of water

That's it.

notsurewhattothink123 · 12/08/2019 23:09

Flask
Candle holder
Lamp
Graduation teddy
Two jewellery boxes
Two blue nose teddies
Three fake cactus things
Cup of juice
Coaster
Painkillers
Couple of picture/plaque things from family and friends
Alarm clock
Mini fan
Candle from work
Sunglasses in a candle holder

... it’s a chest of drawers that’s level with my bed, and my mum’s house so a bit ‘young’ !!
