When was the last time you cleaned your oven?

Over two years ago when we moved in to our house... we are all still alive 😂

My Mum did it 2 weeks ago when we were on holiday and she was dog sitting.

Good old Mum. To be fair it's only 3 months old so wasn't too bad.

Never. Moved in two years ago.

I do it every time i use it cant bear for it not to be done lol

Life is way, way too short to clean an oven.

It's cleaned every month as part of a monthly clean routine.

This also involves the monthly...

Maintenance wash for the washing machine
Monthly deep clean of dryer and filters
Hoover filters are cleaned
Monthly dishwasher deep clean
Meter readings sent online.
And behind the radiators are dusted.

I know, it's sad, but I do love doing it.

Well I just thought I only just did it but I've just realised it back in March! Time goes too quickly

I get a man in once a year and do not touch it in between

I'm glad there are other people like me, I last did mine almost a year ago

It said it was “self cleaning” when I bought it.

Made a mistake of putting the grill pan through the dishwasher though, and the mesh is rusty now so I need a new one.

I got someone in to do my double oven recently - worth every penny as it looks like new. Hadn’t done it for a couple of years previously. Also bought some silicone liners that you can run through the dishwasher.

Never, but it was brand new when we moved in less than 2 years ago. Why does it need cleaning? We clean the baking trays after each use and that's the only bit the food touches...

I have a guy come and clean ours professionally every 6 months

Errm October time maybe, because a guy was coming to fix it. Will next be cleaning it in Feb when our tenancy runs out.
