We have lived here for 6 years and haven't got around to looking in the loft space above my sons' room. I have for no particular reason always been convinced that it is a bit creepy. Yesterday DH looked in, said it was empty and took a photo to show me.

I didn't look at the photo until today.

We're going to be murdered by this grinning ghost head aren't we?? 😬 😭

It’s a smudge on the camera lens. The flash has bounced light back to the camera and that makes the oil in smudges get a purpled colour and obscure part of the photo.

Anyway, I’ve lived in haunted houses and real ghosts do not look like that.

The only ones I ever saw looked like actual people. To the point were i once followed one into a bedroom to find no one there

I don't think Schrodinger ever had a cat. Because if he had, he'd have known that he'd never get it in the box without setting the contraption off and poisoning himself.

ET dropping into your loft to have his photo taken is about as likely as an ‘orb’ hanging around there.

It's not letting me attach the picture but if you draw a line directly down from the orb there's a skull looking thing right at the bottom of the photo

All I see in the purple fuzz is the side profile of Queen Victoria.

OP it could be dust from the loft insulation which has floated up as your DH opened the hatch.... you’ll need to take a few more pics to compare
