I know I shouldn't laugh at other peoples' mistakes, but when I see this I imagine hordes of naked women dancing around.

Ha! Truly living it. L O V I N G.

Dogmatix34 · 30/07/2019 17:12

What’s wrong with curb appeal? Confused

Eatsshoootsandleaves · 30/07/2019 17:14

@Livebythecoast
... bare with a saw head when I red that. Not sorry.

ODFOx · 30/07/2019 17:14

@Dogmatix34

To curb something means to limit it.
If you want to make your house more saleable you need kerb appeal.

Livebythecoast · 30/07/2019 17:15

@barryfromclareisfit
Bloody predictive text eh?! Grin

timeforakinderworld · 30/07/2019 17:16

Kerb is curb in US English though.

Bunnyhop1502 · 30/07/2019 17:18

I wish you could all be more pacific about what you’re talking about.

Livebythecoast · 30/07/2019 17:18

@Eatsshoootsandleaves
Missed opportunity there - you're obviously much better at this than me Wink

Lindormilk · 30/07/2019 17:21

I saw “chork bord” on a FB the other day. A gardening one I follow. She had an idea of having one on a wall for her kids.😦

Chork bord 🤦🏼‍♀️

NorberErratics · 30/07/2019 17:23

It's defiantly a bad thing when people break their car.

(I once read an article in the motoring section of the Guardian. Once was enough - it referred to the 'breaks' throughout.)

UserThenLotsOfNumbers · 30/07/2019 17:25

Quite a difference between being asked to be patient and or get naked, isn't there...

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 30/07/2019 17:26

i can't except that theirs anything wrong with my spelling!

ProseccoSupernova · 30/07/2019 17:28

Defiantly is definitely the worst of the lot!!!

Readytogogogo · 30/07/2019 17:28

Anyone noticed how many people write rediculous?

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 30/07/2019 17:28

I'm FUMMING at some of these!!

picklemepopcorn · 30/07/2019 17:29

Defiantly escapes my keyboard quiet often.

Bear with me suggests there is a burden to be born.

Dogmatix34 · 30/07/2019 17:35

Thanks ODFox. I’d never heard the expression before and found it on google so hadn’t thought of American spelling! Think it’s an American expression though so not such a bad one. I’ve also learnt toe the line not tow from this thread Blush

whingeygingy · 30/07/2019 17:40

Way temperature has dropped it must be a polar bear🤗

Frownette · 30/07/2019 17:40

MN mangles my brain sometimes with spelling - I start to get confused about correct usage

amusedbush · 30/07/2019 17:47

On route Angry

skippy67 · 30/07/2019 17:49

"It's a working progress" is one of my faves. And there's (another) post on here today about "loosing"weight...argh!!!

fantasmasgoria1 · 30/07/2019 17:51

I'm going to seek councilling!

DontCallMeShitley · 30/07/2019 17:56

With baited breath - euurrgghhh!

serensiren · 30/07/2019 17:58

Oh I just carn't cope with this!!

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 30/07/2019 18:14

I dislike the phrase ‘bear with me’ anyway. Why not ‘I’ll go and look’. ‘I won’t be long’ or whatever is appropriate for the situation.
Rediculous is a pet hate. Autocorrect changes it to ridiculous anyway, so you must really have to try hard to get it wrong.
A car has brakes. You break a toy or a vase or a limb. I suppose you could break the brakes...........
