Its 34 degrees here in South Yorkshire im stuck in work melting !!!

Was on the M25 earlier, & car thermometer said 37.5.

Had to keep the doors & windows shut at home to keep out the wall of wet heat.

We had thunder for 0.25 seconds and no rain.

Yuck.

My kitchen thermometer recorded 38.5 this pm. Now down to 34. But it's nearly 8pm and 34. Having a v cold tea. Largely eaten in the vicinity of a freezer!

Another one in Cornwall here. It's been about 20/21C today and not sunny at all.
No heatwave for us down here.
Hope people haven't come here on holiday for nicer weather as it seems we're practically the only place in the country not having this hot weather.
But I'm glad it's cooler - I don't do well in heat over mid 20s.

It's still 34 here. It started to rain earlier but stopped in less than two minutes.

Currently I have just got got of a cold shower and am lying in front of the fan minus clothes. Feels blissful.

Thankfully I have a wonderful DH who is looking after the kids while I cool down from being stuck in a sweat box an office all day.

Blimey @findingmyfeet12 where are you??? Finally down to 26 in my part of the west country. Baby is not going down to sleep easily tonight 😥

I really don't get why everyone is complaining. It's still about 30 in London but it's been a couple of days and it's going to change tomorrow. It's hot, yes, but it's summer!

7 degrees here! I'm in NZ

My flat is currently 31. All windows open. With breeze. Just been in car and its saying 25 out.
Even with air conditioning on in. Y bedroom. It's still 26.. But cooling.. Each time it cools dd wakes up and cries at the air con unit. So have switch it off.

Highs of 26 with a lovely sea breeze on the Welsh coast, just gorgeous!

Still 27 degrees here - I am trialling having my feet in a bowl of cold water but sadly can't work out how to sleep like that!

Down to 27 here now its night time (one hour ahead of uk).
It was 32 with a feel of 36 earlier. But we are on holiday so expect it and have the pool here and no need to do anything we dont want to.

Currently 27 degrees here in Barnsley, and it is nearly 10 oclock.

A massive storm currently in Norfolk - no cooler though 😭 Still, some pretty impressive lightening displays and a good soak for the garden!

Fucking hot. 27 now 37 earlier.

It's now 29 degrees. I had a cool shower which has left me cleaner but just as hot!

22C now and it's nearly 1 in the morning,it is bloody madness but the one thing that's really worrying me is my poor DD in this heat,she's 32 weeks pregnant with her first DC and she fainted a few days ago because of the heat and ended up in hospital.

39 generally, Cyprus. But we're kind of used to it as we live here. Everywhere has aircon and we're used to hiding indoors for a good portion of the year.

A consistent 30 degrees here in Beirut. Cant believe the temperature at the mo in the uk.
