Just been on the tube, no idea how hot that was but even the seats were hot. Now on a bus and again it's bloody hot, feels better outside. I don't mind, I like being warm, hate being cold.

WatchingTheWheels85 · 25/07/2019 17:43

Grey, blowing and raining in my part of pembrokeshire!

RingtheBells · 25/07/2019 17:46

36 outside on thermometer on side of house in shade
32 my front room
Northamptonshire

Sat in front of Dyson fan, glad I splashed out on one when it was on offer in winter

HalfManHalfLabrador · 25/07/2019 17:53

19 degrees but it’s drizzling and overcast and feels colder. Southern Ireland here

username678889 · 25/07/2019 17:57

My app says 32c but feels like 38c .
Inside my house it's 28c
It's going to break tomorrow thankfully. I can't wait for these supposed thunderstorms tonight .

PantsyMcPantsface · 25/07/2019 18:25

Kids have been at a friend's all day and are absolutely wiped from the heat. Thank heavens for dd2 having a really thin weighted blanket or she would never get to sleep tonight as she needs something over her to help her settle.

Will remove it when she's got to sleep before people worry.

RaininSummer · 25/07/2019 18:31

The South East seems to have it bad so do understand the threads complaining about the heat. How ever it is perfect here in Devon - it actually feels like summer. Its 22 in my house and lovely in the shade in the yard.

RingtheBells · 25/07/2019 18:32

Thunder now

Wellhellojonsnow · 25/07/2019 18:38

It was 36.5c about an hour ago. We had to go to DD’s swimming class and for the first time ever ever - it was cooler poolside than outdoors!!?! 🥵

AllTheWhoresOfMalta · 25/07/2019 18:44

In London.

37 degrees in my living room

36 on the middle floor (it gets a better through breeze)

41 degrees in the loft room.

But we’ve had some rumblings of thunder so hoping that there’s about to be a storm and cool things down.

RingtheBells · 25/07/2019 18:46

Our ‘storm’ lasted about 2 minutes

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 25/07/2019 18:49

We'd better get used to it: this is the shape of things to come as the impact of climate change starts to really bite.

DefConOne · 25/07/2019 18:49

22 in Plymouth right now. Perfectly pleasant. I’m very glad to be here.

BelindasGleeTeam · 25/07/2019 18:49

Too fecking hot. Weather app says 31 but it's the humidity that's unbearable. Just thunder FFS. Do us all a favour?!!

Doormat247 · 25/07/2019 18:54

I'm in South Yorkshire too OP. It's still red hot and I got my hopes up a couple of hours ago when it started raining - lasted all of 8 seconds and back to 35 degrees.
It's 43 in my mum's garden though so I should feel lucky. Plus I'm laid in front of a fan.

legolimb · 25/07/2019 18:57

W Yorkshire here. Very warm and muggy. No breeze.

My car thermometer read 34C earlier this afternoon.

This is the kind of day when I wish I was still at my old house. Old cottage with thick walls - was always cool in summer. No reprieve in my new house.

legolimb · 25/07/2019 18:58

Angry. My boiling red hot face.

findingmyfeet12 · 25/07/2019 18:59

41 degrees.

I'm lying on my bed in front of a fan

TokyoSushi · 25/07/2019 19:00

I suspect its actually hotter than the sun in my house in Cheshire, hottest it's been this week by miles!

AllTheWhoresOfMalta · 25/07/2019 19:03

It just rained quite heavily and we all got excited and ran into the garden... then stopped within less than 5 minutes and back to insane heat and humidity beyond sense.

buttertoasty · 25/07/2019 19:27

33 but it's RAINING. Supposed to have a thunderstorm in about half an hour

timeforawine · 25/07/2019 19:32

34 degrees, York. Husband stuck in London due to trains being cancelled Hmm ffs

Wellhellojonsnow · 25/07/2019 19:33

Follow this for storm location...

I get a bit obsessed with this website at times if we’ve got something going on!

MegaClutterSlut · 25/07/2019 19:35

Still 32 here. It's been freaking boiling today but repeatedly spraying my face and clothes with water and sitting in front of the fan has made it more bearable

Heulog · 25/07/2019 19:44

19' grey, overcast and very windy. We've had a few showers, windows are open but the wind is causing internal doors to slam (west Wales coast)
