Boris and Carrie- what do we think?

I'm not sure about the ethics of the Other Woman welcoming BJ to No 10- she's at the door now - when he is in fact still married.

I feel adults should be free to do what they want, but this relationship seems way outside the boundaries of what is morally acceptable for a PM who is not divorced yet.

In many ways I hope Carrie knows what she is doing and is out-scheming Boris. I wouldn’t normally advocate this but if anyone deserves to get used it’s him!

Loopytiles · 24/07/2019 17:03

Guardian article from 2004 about his then sacking, allegedly for affairs and lying about his then OW’s abortion(s) www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/politics/2004/nov/14/uk.conservatives

Mrsjayy · 24/07/2019 17:03

He has 4 adult children with his wife .

Loopytiles · 24/07/2019 17:05

And another DC from an affair, born in 2009. According to the Mirror, at least.

Loopytiles · 24/07/2019 17:07

Although his racist statements cited in the article are even more shocking🚟

Mrsjayy · 24/07/2019 17:08

Ah 09 I thought it was earlier than that. He is a seedy fecker

IdaBWells · 24/07/2019 17:10

He is getting away with all these shenanigans in his private life. If he was representing any other party I'm sure the papers would be highly critical and using his private life to suggest he was not suitable for the job.

Loopytiles · 24/07/2019 17:11

Yes but because he’s a rich Tory it’s apparently fine. Angry

Shame on the MPs who backed him and party members who voted for him too.

DontFearTheReaper · 24/07/2019 17:15

I know Ida if it was Corbyn the coverage would never stop.

DontFearTheReaper · 24/07/2019 17:15

Not that I am a Corbyn fan btw!

Loopytiles · 24/07/2019 17:17

A woman with even corbyn’s record of divorces etc would not be elected as party leader.

Soola · 24/07/2019 17:18

I don’t agree with him on a number of things but at the moment he’s the best man for the job and I hope he comes through on his promise for Brexit.

As for his love life, I’m not that interested, it’s Brexit that I want and what is at the forefront of my mind.

FancyForgetting · 24/07/2019 17:19

Interestingly, Johnson’s Wikipedia entry now states the number of children he has as ‘5 or 6’.

Loopytiles · 24/07/2019 17:20

Are you OK with his racist statements too? I

What makes him the “best man for the job”?

Benjispruce · 24/07/2019 17:21

She's trying to raise her profile. What woman would be interested in him?

Benjispruce · 24/07/2019 17:22

We now have Tweedle dumb and Tweedle dumber on either side of the Atlantic. Joy! Hmm

DoNotWorry · 24/07/2019 17:23

Blair had the most affairs
Really? I hadn't heard that. Where did you hear about it?
Probably In the Sunday Gutter.

ElspethFlashman · 24/07/2019 17:24

5 or 6...omg it's all so seedy.

I imagine if Marina knew about the other affairs he likely swore blind it would never happen again. Probably cried. She was raising kids and had a job, she possibly chose to believe him because it was too difficult to split anyway.

And by all accounts she really really loved him.

But now the kids are grown and he'll never bloody keep it in his pants.

Problem is, I imagine there's a real risk of a Bill Clinton situation in No 10 with some adoring assistant.

jennymanara · 24/07/2019 17:26

I don't believe the rubbish that Blair had lots of affairs.
Boris on the other hand is clearly guilty of lots of affairs.7

British PMs have had affairs before, but the public has never known about them until the PM has left office.
This is a new British low.

JinglingHellsBells · 24/07/2019 17:27

He had 4 children with his last wife (and counting), supposedly has 1 child with a former mistress and a journalist has written about the abortion she had.

NONE of this matters to me, if he wasn't PM, but what I think is seedy is if CS walks into No 10 before BJ is divorced. What kind of mindset must she have?

I don't care if he has affairs or had but I think for the sake of appearances she would be wise to keep a very low profile and not live with him at No 10.

I also think it is scary that someone the same age as my DD might be influencing the country's politics simply because she is shagging the PM and he supposedly dotes on her.

I think she has a brass neck and I see her as Lady Macbeth.

Interesting point was raised today about what may happen when he goes to stay with the queen at Balmoral in October. The Queen evidently does not allow unmarrieds to stay overnight.

pallid, doughy prick
Grin Sums him up a treat.

Loopytiles · 24/07/2019 17:28

I don’t feel that sorry for Marina as she was his OW and stayed married after his previous affairs were publicised. Her choices.

I do feel sorry for his adult and young DC.

But mainly angry about his being selected as party leader given his personal choices, racism etc

midsomermurderess · 24/07/2019 17:29

I think people should stop calling them by their first names as if they are their mates. 'Boris' is part of his carefully crafted PR. Call him by his surname, like any other politician. As for her? who cares. She is just one in a very very long line of use em and lose em chicks he has worked through.

Noextremes2017 · 24/07/2019 17:30

In answer to the question - do we care?

DontFearTheReaper · 24/07/2019 17:30

Didn’t he try and get an injunction to stop the press reporting on the child that resulted from one of the affairs?
