I'm not sure about the ethics of the Other Woman welcoming BJ to No 10- she's at the door now - when he is in fact still married.

I feel adults should be free to do what they want, but this relationship seems way outside the boundaries of what is morally acceptable for a PM who is not divorced yet.

Well if she doesn't want kids, all the better.

But I still think a 31 year old is wasting the best years of their life to a man old enough to be her father.

Boris has had numerous overlapping relationships/affairs and has been sacked from at least one job for lying over them when confronted by the press.

Marina was well liked and there was much reporting about how devastated she was when she found out. That said, Carrie hasn't been his first affair during this particular marriage - perhaps it was the only one Marina found proof of. It was the straw that broke the camels back and she kicked him out and his kids were repelled.

No word on whether they are talking to him again or not. Probably not, as they were a no show today and are conspicuously not mentioned by anyone.

Mind you, Marina was the (last) OW in his first marriage. He really is the proof that when a man marries his mistress he creates a vacancy.

Just had a Google. Johnson had dinner with Carrie Symonds at Rules on Valentine's Day 2018. The Sun reported that his wife had thrown him out over allegations of an affair in September 2018. So yes, it seems he was staying true to form.

Thanks for the info Elspeth, it makes more sense to me now. Though about Marina - hadn’t he fathered one or more children by the time of Carrie so a bit odd that that was the deal-breaker, but as you say perhaps the straw that broke the camel’s back.
