And I have 5 pictures off the wall, one smashed, two ripped canvasses, one broken vase, one broken stair, curtains off the rail, one broken door lock, two lost remote controls, no chargers to be seen anywhere, 5 excess rubbish bags of recycling, at least 10 broken plants, one pissed off neighbour and I haven’t even looked in the bedrooms yet.

Do you rent your property?

GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat · 24/07/2019 14:37

Is guests slang for burglars?

BobTheFishermansWife · 24/07/2019 14:38

What!!!
Who were these people?

Sunburntnoseandears · 24/07/2019 14:38

Have you been having a teen house party op?

HollowTalk · 24/07/2019 14:38

Who the hell are these guests? Do you do AirBnB?

YouJustDoYou · 24/07/2019 14:38

Not as bad as that, but every single time my dm and sdf stay, they break at least one mug (and dm pretends "she found it like that"), break at least one fixture in the house (was the shower head the last visit), and flood the bathroom. Every. Single. Time.

Ginormoustrawberry · 24/07/2019 14:38

Guests? 😱

OoohOnly90CaloriesIllhave10 · 24/07/2019 14:39

Eh?

Shockers · 24/07/2019 14:39

I meant do you rent out your property?

babysharkah · 24/07/2019 14:39

Who on earth were your guests?

Whatsnewpussyhat · 24/07/2019 14:41

Come on op, you know we're going to need more info than that.

lilliepixie · 24/07/2019 14:42

Sounds like terrible behaviour to me, especially if the neighbours are pissed off.

HollowTalk · 24/07/2019 14:45

Honestly, I would've been tears and would have kicked them out as soon as I could see how it was going to play out.

All that recycling - are you talking about empty bottles?

Flyingsouthwiththeswallows · 24/07/2019 14:46

Disgusting !!

If it is a holiday cottage I hope you have a bond.

If they were friends, I hope they are no more !!

LemonBreeland · 24/07/2019 14:47

It would be the last time they stayed with me. That is an appalling amount of damage. How long did they stay?

Soola · 24/07/2019 14:47

Why have you let them go without them clearing up the mess they made?

I hope they have given you money to replace everything.

This wouldn’t happen in my house as I wouldn’t allow ‘thundering’ about to the degree that things got trashed.

What are they? Neanderthals?

Marvinmarvinson · 24/07/2019 14:48

I don't understand how anyone can make that much damage by just being 'heavy handed'. How do you heavy handedly break so many pictures and plants unless you're grabbing them off the wall and throwing them around?

bloodywhitecat · 24/07/2019 14:50

That's not heavy handed, that's disrespectful.

Icantstopeatinglol · 24/07/2019 14:50

WTAF! That’s awful! What were your guests saying when these things were happening?

LIZS · 24/07/2019 14:50

How did you only realise this now? Damage to pictures is more than being heavy handed.

TapasForTwo · 24/07/2019 14:50

That's more than just being heavy handed.
I would class that as terrible anti social behaviour.
