Where are you off on your summer holidays

Because I am nosy and I love holidays!

Plus I need cheering up.

We're just back from Portugal.

Also got a UK break planned in October.

Nowhere in the summer holidays...We avoid July and August because we can. But have had a week in NYC, 2 weeks in Lindos and a week in Wales so far.and a couple of city breaks booked for autunn

We're going to Texas (Galveston) in September. I'm already excited for it!!

Not excited for the flight with a 1.5 year old though. Eek!

Lanzarote for us and we have a snowy winter holiday booked too!

Nowhere because I literally cannot be bothered.

@JamesBondFire what was the temperature like when you were there? Shorts & t-shirt weather? (We're hardy Scots)

@pepsimax20bigger 28/29 for the most part so shorts and T-shirt. However, the evenings got cooler and there was also some storms so still take layers!

Japan for 14 nights - visiting Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.

Really looking forward to it - although not the lengthy flights!
Ive spent today sorting out some day itineraries for when in Tokyo and Kyoto so that we don't have to wake up and think too much! Especially so for Tokyo with it being so huge.

Been very fortunate this year as already been away - New Year week in Valencia, 4 nights in Malaga and a 10 days in Abu Dhabi and Singapore.

In October we are going to Sorrento for 5 nights.

We're off to Dorset for the last week of August. Staying at a holiday park. Need to get up to date with work first though. Already started the countdown.

Those looking forward to going Disney land
Out of interest - are you excited for your children if you know what I mean or excited at prospect of their excitement or are you actually looking forward to two weeks of a theme park?

Been several time to WDW, also been to DLP and California Disneyland. In Tokyo we are going to the Japan Disney and Universal parks.

DD is an older teen but loves Disney and Harry Potter so I enjoy it from her point - been going since she was tiny. But also both myself and dh love coasters too ad I love the theming at these parks.

DD's aim is to do all 6 Disney Parks - so we are planning to do the final 2 in Hong King and Shanghi next summer.
