Where are you off on your summer holidays

Because I am nosy and I love holidays!

Plus I need cheering up.

Yes, easier to see what I have/ still need. Obviously won't pack things we are still using, but a lot of our 'holiday stuff' is in bags etc all over the house.

I like to be organised

But I had a week in Tenerife at the beginning of the year, a week in Turkey in May and off to Majorca in September, without DC, so can't complain!

My back garden as the weather’s been great and I have a pool!
But actually we’re also going abroad at Xmas and can’t afford to go away twice.

Had two weeks in Korea and Japan and am going to Vietnam on Tuesday for 8 days. We live in China so all short haul trips for us. Will be very different when we move back to the UK!

Had a few days in Dorset. Not going abroad this summer but off to Japan in the autumn which I’m so excited about! Maybe going to Thailand in the new year too to visit some friends.

Cornwall this week. Italy & Croatia for 2 weeks at the end of August.

Had/having a few long weekends in this country but have booked a trip to New York late November, early December (one of my favourite places at that time of the year)
Hoping we will be able to go up to Perthshire in September.

Cornwall and am constantly checking the weather hoping it will be nice when we go!

Two nights near Bracknell August bank holiday weekend for the Reading Festival.
We have elderly Fil and can't go away for longer - as it is we'll have phone calls over the weekend with regards to his various issues real and imagined. I think we will be very lucky to get the whole weekend without an 'emergency' When DP went on his annual boys trip earlier in the year Fil pretended to be dead and caused panic stricken phone calls from his neighbour! He wasn't dead and was only 'resting' apparently!!!

Monday to Friday in a cottage in North Wales mid August, I’m hoping the nice weather holds. Can’t wait.

Vietnam and Cambodia this summer, so excited! Won't go away again for a while though as costing a lot 😒

Porto in Portugal. Just got back - it was fabulous but maybe not for small children as it's very hilly and old and cultural. Depends on your kids really.

Had a week in Majorca at the beginning of June and off to Las Vegas in September

Norfolk in a week and then Butlins at the end of August. We tend to stay in the UK over summer and go abroad when the weather is less nice here - we went to Tunisia at Easter and Majorca in the May half term.

We don’t do summer holidays but I’m hoping for a week in Dorset and a week in Cardiff to see friends and relatives.

Haven’t felt really well enough to book anything . Plus as the only driver I have to drive, well or not

We go to Tenerife in October and then December..two weeks each.
We’ve had theee weeks there already in March..thank god, summer came early.

4 nights a week we are at our caravan in N Yorks..dodging the rain.😡

We're here in menorca at an AI resort and it's brilliant. Felt like it took forever to get here. Already googling next years to look for a bargain.

We're in Kephalonia just now - near the end of our holiday. It's a beautiful place - thoroughly recommend

Currently having 10 days in Lourdes. First week on diocesan pilgrimage. Next few days visiting the local area and catching up

France in 4 weeks.

Maldives for 2 weeks mid September, once the schools go back ...all dcs grown up , so can afford to go long haul holidays now!

Cornwall for 5 days. First time visiting and can’t wait!
