Unusual City Break

Looking for a city break (around 3 nights) for me and DP, were not romantic so we won't enjoy Rome/Florence but we did enjoy Naples.

I want to find a hidden gem

Leiden in the Netherlands. You can visit Utrecht and Gouda whilst there as well.

Any of the Baltic countries are amazing to visit. Vilnius (capital of Lithuania), Riga (capital of Latvia) and Tallinn (capital of Estonia). All three are phenomenally beautiful, cheap to fly to and cheap when you are there. Great for foodies too.

We travelled by coach between the three countries as it is only about four hours drive between each one. Again, this was also extremely cheap to do and really high quality coaches.

Leuven, Ghent, Reims, Cologne

Stockholm is beautiful with lots to do, and is really close to Upsala which is a fab site. I enjoyed Tallinn very much too.

Roveneimi in Finland has some easily accessible activities (cross country skiing, snow shoe walking, reindeer driving).

I fancy Tromso but I've never been.
