What has MN taught you?

I've been thinking about this today.

MN has taught me;

• Thinking on a deeper, critical level.
• That some behaviours I previously thought of as annoying and inconsiderate are downright abusive.
• To defend myself.
• That some people on this planet are just nuts.

And of course;

• Sugar is comparable with crack.
• Fabric Conditioner is the devil.
• 'Posh Chocs' exist
• A bath is similar to being a pig wallowing in filth

So what has MN taught you? Any lessons that you'd like to share?

-That some people will tell you are are wrong even if you are plainly right
-That the idea of 'the world doesn't owe you anything' can be taken to ridiculous levels

• that some people are utterly obsessed with cleanliness but think its normal
• that some people are hugely talented
• that it's ok to say 'that doesn't work for me'.

That it's ok to say No.

How awful some other people's partners are.
How naïve some people are when it comes to shared finances.
How much unnecessary washing other people do.
How much my DD's then undiagnosed dyspraxia could be affecting her.
How lucky I am.

Some very filthy words.

That some people are gullible as fuck and will believe any old bullshit.

Value myself.

Also that some people's behaviour on line is absolutely disgraceful. The pile on cruelty I've seen here. Wow.

The list goes on. MN really has given me confidence and strength so thank you

@ainslieb I absolutely love the stuff - have a slight addiction, but if you look at threads talking about FS you'll see that posters refuse to use it because the 'fake, artificial, chemical smell' gives them a headache, because it makes the washing slimey?, is 'unnecessary' and is bad for the environment.
