Shelfsitter · 26/08/2019 19:53

Some slightly out of date yogurt with jam for breakfast. A fridge risotto for dinner which was ok. At lunch I finished some peanut butter hummus which could have done with more oil and garlic really. Roll on payday.

Woke up to breakfast in a crappy hotel we were staying at so wasn’t much choice as the food was awful and the plates were all crusty Hmm so I had a piece of toast for breakfast, garlic aioli and carrot battons for lunch with a choc tea cake, then just made a bacon Caesar salad for tea washed down with a passion fruit Malibu Grin
Attempting to start my healthy eating tomorrow.. fingers crossed!!

@AwkwardSquad your day sounds delicious!
I’ve had a rubbish food day. Feel like I’ve eaten nothing but cr*p!

B - coffee.

L - some salt and pepper crisps and a tub of smoked almonds.

Then an ice cream at the funfair

D - a coronation chicken and lettuce sandwich, 2 nectarines, a blueberry muffin and an iced coffee 😳

Was out swimming and geocaching this morning and then funfair-ing this afternoon. Forced tea as felt super sick after my friends 7 year old DS (who is petrified of rides) said he wanted to go on the waltzers with me. I felt super chuffed he wanted us to go together so I said I would and ended up feeling sick for the rest of the afternoon 😂 (worth it though!)

graziemille567 · 27/08/2019 20:58

Breakfast - Slice of crusty white toast with butter and 2 cups of tea.
Snacks - A seafood stick and a mint choc chip ice cream in a wafer cone
Lunch - Half a spinach, feta and pine nut pie from Aldi - it's the best thing they do! One tempura battered chicken strip and a few strawberries.
Snacks - An ice lolly, two jaffa cakes, a bag of ringos and two glasses of rose with lemonade
Dinner - A small slice of lasagne (children ate the rest off my plate!) and some mixed veg.

AwkwardSquad · 27/08/2019 21:15

Phycadelicsilhouette your day sounds a hell of a lot more fun than mine! Day at work, now MNing in the dark as we have another power cut. It’s feeling a bit 1970s here. Except that I’m on the internet instead of trying to read a copy of the Beano by candlelight.

TheClitterati · 27/08/2019 21:24

I've had a good food day:

B: smoothie with pumpkin seeds, flaxseeds, banana, blueberries, kefir

L: salad - lettuce, rocket, avocado, toms, radish, roast chicken breast, Roquefort & kefir dressing.

s: couple of apples

D: too hot to cook so I had chia seed, cacao and coconut water pudding with chopped banana & passionfruit.

firstimemamma · 27/08/2019 21:31

Overnight oats made with nectarine and frozen berries

Some nuts

Beans on toast

Bagel and hummus

Gammon, oven chips and veg with mayo

2 chocolate biscuits

A lot of water and many cups of tea Grin

Never snacked before I had a baby (besides the odd bit of fruit) but now that I have a 1 year old who I'm still breastfeeding I snack loads!

Nuttyaboutnutella · 27/08/2019 21:41

B; muesli with blueberries
L: beans and cheese on toast
D: mushroom and truffle filled pasta ( from Aldi) with a little bit of tomato sauce and parmesan cheese
Snacks: small piece of toast with blackcurrant jam, a biscuit, piece of dark chocolate, grapes and kiwi

Phycadelicsilhouette · 27/08/2019 22:15

@AwkwardSquad I’m lucky as not going back to work until the DC are back to school (new job, very excited!)
I hope your power has returned now!
I have had a little read back through the thread and have to say your food sounds good!
Mine will include allot of cheese for the next few weeks I think as I bought 5 blocks of Wyke farm vintage cheddar in the reduced section on our way home for just 37p each!

mamaduckbone · 27/08/2019 22:47

B - sliced apple and peanut butter
2 hob nobs with coffee
L - salad with pastrami and Gouda cheese. Small piece of baguette
Raspberry yoghurt
Jaffa cake ice cream waffle cone
D - grilled chicken and bacon with salad, avocado, olives, hard-boiled egg.
Small piece of dark chocolate.

I'm trying to get back on track after a very boozy foody bank holiday weekend, but still craving sugar.

Justonedayatatime11 · 27/08/2019 22:55

B - slice of GF toast and butter

L - babybel, GF flapjack and raspberry smoothie ice lolly

D - tuna and salad, very small portion of rice

S - 1 piece of coconut ice and a GF Gu melt in the middle chocolate pudding

I always feel like I eat too much but looking at that it's not really a lot

milliefiori · 27/08/2019 22:59

breakfast: skyr with a spoonful of last night's berry and almond crumble stirred in, coffee

lunch:a whole avocado on 4 Ryvita; 3 tangerines

snack: chunk of last night's spiced beef

dinner: rigatoni with broad beans, peas, sun-dried tomatoes, fried courgettes, basil and ricotta
pudding: berry and almond crumble with honeycomb ice cream
2 glasses white wine

Wouldn't be too bad if I'd laid off the crumble, wine and ice cream!
