I love a food thread and normally pick up some new ideas as well Smile

Breakfast, poached eggs on toast. Lots of coffee

Lunch chicken salad & party rings with the dc

Dinner later will be sausage and butter bean stew & a bottle of red for me and dh

Dessert home made strawberry ice cream ( the ice cream maker has turned out to be a great buy)

toast for breakfast - ran out of eggs
plain greek yogurt with honey at my desk
then a gentrified sausage roll at desk from local boujis village shop
x3 m&s type jaffa cakes
quiche and green salad when i got home
mint choc cornetto
couple of handfuls of strawberries to make way for the new strawberries. my son hoovers them.
x3 veggie sausages and made by me tomato salsa salad
then a load of peppermint creams. don't know why, i just like mint at the moment.. they are very satisfying! ate too many though as usual.
I'm still recovering from morning sickness and am thrown off hugely by hot weather, plus we've got builders in so life is not focused on healthy eating right now just on getting through to bedtime!

Poached eggs on toast, orange juice and a latte.
Cuppa and a Naked fruit and nut bar mid morning. Chicken salad sandwich and some grapes at lunch then another cuppa.
For dinner, fish pie with veg. Nicked one of DS's curly wurlies for pud. Grin

As always I am astonished at how little most people seem to eat! Assume you are a) trying to lose weight, b) as thin as sticks or c) have very slow metabolism.

Yesterday I had:
Breakfast: raspberries, few slices of banana, yogurt, granola. Slice of toast and Marmite. Black coffee, orange juice.
Mid-morning: black coffee, half a fruit scone and butter.
Lunch: bit of leftover cod and haricot stew, half a ciabatta roll, a few mini oatcakes with hummus, half an apple.
Mid-afternoon : cup of tea and a Marmite biscuit.
Supper: sausages, half a jacket potato, baked tomatoes, spinach. Baked apricots and vanilla icecream. Two chocolates.
Oh and I also fitted in a bit of icecream after lunch.
I am trying to put on a bit of weight, normally I wouldn't eat quite that much. Oh ok, I would.

Yesterday:

0% fat Greek yogurt with mango and strawberries mixed in
Large mixed salad with balsamic vinegar, 2 hardboiled eggs and 5 thin sandwich type slices of chicken.
Salmon 'naked' fishcake (no breadcrumbs) salad, 1 hardboiled egg, reduced fat coleslaw, small portion new potatoes.
1 pack hula hoops puft
1 small bowl oat green is with skimmed milk.
Fruit tea and 3l water during the day.

Boots cajun veggie sandwich, date and salted caramel Squares, iced tea (much better option than crap from Mcdonalds where I was taking DS, even ate it in there!).
Bar of Dairy Milk
Couple of DS's sweets as he had way too many from school
New potato and boiled egg salad with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, peppers and feta covered in honey and mustard dressing
Peach yoghurt
3 litres of water

So far today
Strawberries, 1/2 a cantaloupe, banana, coffee
1 litre of water

So far today I have had a pesto rice salad with pine nuts and mozarella and a nectarine. For supper tonight we are going to have a spicy sausage casserole with baked sweet potatoes

Lunch: carrot and celery batons, cherry tomatoes, berry smoothie
Dinner: tuna pasta bake

Today:

Breakfast: two boiled eggs, 1 slice wholemeal toast and butter
Lunch: carrot and celery batons, cherry tomatoes, 200g low fat cottage cheese
Dinner will be spag bol and salad

B - 2 scrambled eggs with bit of butter, coffee
L - half an avocado, iced coffee. Smoothie made with fresh strawberries, milk and banana
D - will be lentil and veg bake and ice cream

Just had a mars bar.
Lamb chops with new spuds and veg for tea followed by scones,with jam and fresh cream for after.

B - tea, toasted tea cake
Elevenses - latte and a donut (I had a hospital appt and treated myself in the cafe afterwards Grin)
L - wholemeal crispbread with cheese and a freakishly huge apple (seriously big - I got them from the market and they are lovely but I'm feeling very full)
D - probably spag bol + salad leaves. Yogurt or an orange for pud.
Actually just reembered I bought some mango slices - so will have them for pud.
Currently drinking a cup of mint, cucumber and cornflower tea - which tastes a bit like Pimms believe it or not !

@AwkwardSquad I made them for a friends birthday! I asked what he would like and that was the answer. It's a Betty Crocker recipe from their website. Bloody lovely!
