Do I want to travel 350 miles to see Rammstein tomorrow and the same back that night?

Do I? I've booked the tickets, paid for travel and they're my favourite band but the travelling!

Does anyone else book events and regret it?

Absolutely, but rammstein are meant to be awesome live, so I'm sure you'll be glad you went. :)

Springfern · 05/07/2019 21:58

I traveled from London to Carlise and back again the next day to see my favourite band, Camera Obscura. It was completely and utterly worth it!

IndecisiveasAlways · 05/07/2019 22:02

I'm going to have to wait for hours in line and then hours between the coach and the train. Why did I book this? I love the band but...

Where is the venue. Do you want to sell the tickets

IndecisiveasAlways · 05/07/2019 22:06

Too late to sell them. It's in Milton Keynes and I'd have to go there in person to do so.

Have a great time. My DH is very jealous

AllTheWhoresOfMalta · 05/07/2019 22:09

Springfern you’re literally the only other person in the world I’ve ever known to know who the hell CO are. Nice one high five

I get why you wouldn’t want to bother OP but it will be worth it if you love them. Me and my DH and his best friend travelled to Manchester from London and back in one day to see the Stone Roses when they reformed in 2012. We were knackered but it was so worth it and looking back now it’s such a fond memory, even sitting in the services at Newport Pagnell at 3am eating chips and drinking Red Bull. We had shared the driving out and were trying to not sleep at all even when it wasn’t our shift so we would support one another. Not that I’d have the energy now with two kids, but back then we were fun!

Stravapalava · 05/07/2019 22:10

I don't even like Rammstein, I went because my DH loves them and he had no one else to go with, but it was an absolutely banging show! Is there any way you can stay over instead of travelling back?

schoolcook · 05/07/2019 22:11

I don't think you'd regret going but you may well regret not going !
FWIW you wouldn't see me for dust !
Me and my son love them Smile

BobbinThreadbare123 · 05/07/2019 22:13

Yes!

But I would say that cos I'm already here in MK having travelled a long way to watch Rammstein.

Ja! Nein! Rammstein! They're going to be fucking awesome.

AldiAisleOfTat · 05/07/2019 22:17

Yes!

IndecisiveasAlways · 05/07/2019 22:17

I wish that I'd got in there early and booked accommodation but it was too expensive when I got around to it.

OP posts:
shinynewapple · 05/07/2019 22:21

Can't you stay over night in a cheap hotel ?

IndecisiveasAlways · 05/07/2019 22:22

No cheap hotels in Milton Keynes because of the concert and it's too much bother going to Luton or other. I can't even be bothered going there now. Still debating. It seemed like a god idea at the time.

OP posts:
foreverhanging · 05/07/2019 22:23

Fuck yeah. I love rammstein and their shows are honestly something else

foreverhanging · 05/07/2019 22:24

If you've never seen them it's an experience for sure!

DrDreReturns · 05/07/2019 22:26

Enjoy! feuer frei! \m/

sonjadog · 05/07/2019 22:27

Go! It seems like too much right now but when you are on your way you won’t think about it and you will have a concert experience you’ll remember for years to come.

MondeoFan · 05/07/2019 22:29

I love rammstein my take on it would be it's totally worth it

Whisky2014 · 05/07/2019 22:29

Du
Du hast
Du hast mich

Yea, you do!

IndecisiveasAlways · 05/07/2019 22:30

Nice to see so many Rammstein fans on here. If I got to take Till home I'd be there in a heartbeat but unfortunately I don't think his bodyguard will allow that.

OP posts:
DareDevil223 · 05/07/2019 22:31

Yes, you must go. Rammstein are awesome live Grin

SchrodingersMeowth · 05/07/2019 22:32

They’re amazing live. I saw them at Sonisphere like 10 years ago and they were my favourite despite not going there for them.

IndecisiveasAlways · 05/07/2019 22:36

Could some kind person who is going to MK please put Till in a box and send him to me?

OP posts:
Yubaba · 05/07/2019 22:42

I’ve been listening to them at work today, my boss is more into grime than German metal though so he wasn’t impressed but I don’t care. I’m very jealous, I’d love to see them live.
