Do I? I've booked the tickets, paid for travel and they're my favourite band but the travelling!

Does anyone else book events and regret it?

I am so jealous. Tried to get tickets for my dad but they sold out. We are near MK if you fancy selling Grin

Cheesecake53 · 05/07/2019 22:45

Is there a cheap hotel available along the way? So if not in MK, maybe you can still avoid a 350 mile trip by staying the night 50 or 100 miles along the way?

IndecisiveasAlways · 05/07/2019 22:52

I'm sorry that you couldn't get tickets, Bishalisha. It seems that there's likely to be another UK date or two. I hope that you have more luck then.

Absolutely go!

I once left early after seeing my favourite band so I could catch the last train home. Ended up missing the train anyway and having to fork out for a taxi. The band later announced their split and I never saw them again. It’s been years and I’ve still not forgiven myself.

Learn from my mistake! You never know what’s around the corner.

IamPickleRick · 05/07/2019 23:46

Mate, book a bed in a hostel and get the mega bus back the day after. Fuck all that travelling Confused (in my younger days yes but I’m too old now!)

Dhalandchips · 05/07/2019 23:50

I'll buy them off you Grin , seriously though, go, you will be knackered but won't regret it x

IamPickleRick · 05/07/2019 23:51

Do I want to travel 350 miles to see Rammstein tomorrow and the same back that night?

Go! 100%! You'll really regret not going!

northerngirl2012 · 06/07/2019 07:14

Go! You’ll love them!

DeathMetalMum · 06/07/2019 07:16

Go, my DP is going and totally excited he is leaving sometime this morning to meet his friend who will be doing the 2.5 hour drive there. I went to drop my car off at the garage yesterday and they had Rammstein on Grin . We had to miss a gig last year because of travel issues, and I still feel a bit sad about it every now and then. We have rebooked to see the same band supporting another in December. Go!

beepbeeprichie · 06/07/2019 07:18

I would say go. It’s what- 20 hours out of your life to experience something you’ll love. A bit of a hassle ok but the alternative is probably far less memorable.

IndecisiveasAlways · 06/07/2019 07:18

I'm feeling ill though(PCOS) so I'm hesitant.

OP posts:
Xiaoxiong · 06/07/2019 07:30

I think you'll regret not going especially if you're feeling a bit meh because you'll end up moping about at home. Go, it'll take your mind off it and you'll have a great time.

Glitteryfrog · 06/07/2019 07:31

Go!
It'll be fun. Have a look at the footage from earlier in the tour on YouTube.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 06/07/2019 07:38

Go! Go! Go!

Mabelface · 06/07/2019 07:41

Go! I'm very, very jealous.

Ceebeegee · 06/07/2019 08:23

Go Go Go!!
I backed out of seeing them in Manchester a few years ago because of travel times but I regretted it - I should have just got in the car and had a good time.

Go.

forgotyounot · 06/07/2019 08:40

I'm going - seen them a few times and they're the best you'll ever see.

I'm just stressing as I have not booked parking ! ☹️

Springfern · 06/07/2019 09:20

AllTheWhoresOfMalta Yessss! They are so underrated. I'm also a Stone Roses fan Grin

beachwoodsmoon · 06/07/2019 09:30
