What does everyone think? The papers seem really annoyed by their decision to keep Archie’s godparents secret. I’m not sure what to think. I don’t think it would hurt to let the public know these details and to see the christening party arrive at church.

Morgan is as creepy as fuck. He’s like an obsessive stalker who can’t handle the fact that Meghan ghosted him. It looks like he’s never going to let go of this vendetta, he publishes his bile virtually every day.

Some elements of 'the media' are incandescent that they are not being given the access that they feel they are entitled to (despite their role in Harry's mother's death). They are therefore making shit up on a daily basis about the two of them, particularly Meghan, and people are lapping it up like idiots. The whole situation is utterly outrageous.

I support their right to choose privacy. But not to then take wadsoftaxpayers money for a (strange old fashioned) role they are deciding against taking.

I couldn't name any of William and Kate's children's god parents, so in keeping it all so private it has made a mountain out of a molehill. I suppose if they've chosen celebrities then I might remember but either way I couldn't care less so the secrecy just seems unnecessary.

I do think though that they need decide what type of royal they want to be. If they want to be public and make adoring appearances, spend masses of public money etc then I'm afraid they have to willing to be in the public eye. They have the option of being mostly private and the press will start to leave them alone (the case with some royals eg Zara and Mike). But I think they want the best of both worlds which is where the backlash is coming from.

What annoys me (along with all the spending) is they seem to think it their job to lecture us mere mortals on poverty, climate change etc. I do wish they'd be a little quieter and a bit more practical.

An afternoon with a baby is not easy suppose they need feeding where do you go for privacy. I would have been anxious as a first time mother.

Well, given that I know little about the godparents of people I actually know, I simply can't be bothered to interest myself in the godparents of people I don't.

No movement in three hours? How do you know, they're still photographs of probably a couple of minutes. They're not going to show her holding him beautifully because that doesn't make headlines. Also tiny babies sleep most of the time.
