What are you having for dinner/tea in this heat?

I have zero appetite right now. Throwing fish fingers, chips and beans on for DS. Not sure what to have myself -- either cheese and crackers, or an omelette. DP will probably have a cheese sandwich or bowl of cereal (we also need to go shopping!).

What's everyone having for dinner in this heat?

Cold roast chicken, smoked salmon, lemony potato salad, cold roast peppers with mandarin scented olive oil, baby plum tomatoes, mixed leaves.

I usually have cucumber, tomato, red onion, feta or goats cheese, an orange pepper with a dash of balsamic dressing.
Yum!

Grilled lamb, broad beans, and Jersey Royal new potatoes with garden mint and butter. And a big jug of Sangria, ready to settle down and watch the World Cup!
It’s not too hot up here in Scotland- lovely and sunny but only 18C.

Chicken breast covered in beaten egg and rolled in crushed cheesey Doritos. Big floury baps and homemade coleslaw.

It's not that hot where I am in the Midlands. Indoor temp is only 20. We are having cheese and onion pie, mashed potatoes, carrots, peas, green beans, sweetcorn and cauliflower

It's not at all hot now (London) - we're having roast lamb, yum!

My OH is out tonight so it’s just me. I had a microwave Penang curry.

Tomorrow we’re having a chicken Caesar salad.

I’m in Surrey but really don’t think it’s that hot at all! Perhaps I’m getting ill... Think fish and chips for us. I’m hoping that my appetite reduces during our one day heatwave tomorrow as I’m eating like a horse at the moment!

Tonight: Spatchcock chicken with salad and corn on the cob (eating outside)

Tomorrow: steaks on bbq with salad, baked potatoe & peppercorn sauce

Sunday: chicken & chorizo skewers on bbq with pasta salad & green salad

I think hot depends on your perspective! 21C here in Yorkshire which is a heatwave for us!

West Midlands - it's frikity frackin hot here but have been a chauffeur for relatives to a funeral today whilst also trying to entertain my toddler DS in the car in this heat ideas of a lovely bbq and drinks have gone out of the window - pass me the takeaway menu please

Thai red curry. It was lovely.

Flatbread, Houmous, falafel, rocket, feta, roasted peppers (from a jar) and jalapeño sauce. I could not be bothered to cook tonight!
