What are you having for dinner/tea in this heat?

I have zero appetite right now. Throwing fish fingers, chips and beans on for DS. Not sure what to have myself -- either cheese and crackers, or an omelette. DP will probably have a cheese sandwich or bowl of cereal (we also need to go shopping!).

What's everyone having for dinner in this heat?

Freezer pizza, four cheese but I added tomato slices, anchovies, olives and capers.

Mexican chicken breast with spicy rice and salad, and a Pina colada ice lolly for after!

It's not especially hot here, I'm having chicken in a tarragon sauce with rice. Aperos first though, Campari & soda, so it must be summer!!

Chicken kebabs, glazed ribs, salad, coleslaw and potato salad with home made sundried tomato bread. We’ll eat in the garden as it’s gorgeous here.

I was planning oven baked risotto and cake but I don't want to put the oven on. Sandwiches?

Pesto crusted salmon, couscous & probably some runner beans

It's not hot here so we're having a BBQ.

Can you believe DS birthday meal !.Hes in his 20s so all going out for Chinese meal !.last year felt so hot ,just walking to the restaurant from the nearby car park!.This year other side of town ,so a little nearer ! and hopefully full Air Con going on!.Meals I make during heat Cooked chicken thighs/breasts cooled down and served with Rice/Pasta salad /New potatoes and green salad .Pizza and salad .Too hot for Chilli the other eve ,so had ham sandwiches and cereal about 8pm .On S coast here ,Breezy but still hot!(with Chicken do a couple of days worth then ring the changes with side dishes )

The car park is a little nearer I mean !

Currently 27 degrees in my garden which has no shade....

Kids had fish n chips from the chip shop! Friday night (and pay day treat)

Dh and I will have a curry (takeaway) again Friday night treat!

Tomorrow will be mainly fluids and salad, anything which doesn’t require the oven to go on!!

Very hot here in Staffordshire. We're having chicken and salad followed by ice cream and raspberries from the garden. Might only be a couple each as it's a bit early, but you can but try.

Halloumi and veg skewers with sweet potato fries and corn on the cob. Trip to the allotment about 8pm to pick some strawberries which will be pudding.

Risotto and a lovely bottle of chilled rose...will be eating outside

Fish and chips at the seaside!

Barbeque. Marinated chicken, roasted Mediterranean veg, potato salad and halloumi.
Tomorrow also barbeque- burgers in buns and salad and halloumi. Always halloumi.

Curry.
It's hot here but I don't care. It's Friday!

It's hard isn't it.

We have a lot of bbqs and big salads, sometimes with new potatoes.

BBQ here...its warm and sunny and today is probably our summer (Ireland) so we've got to make the most of it.

Kids finished school today so everyone in celebratory mood.

Where is it hot? Only got to a high of 25 here last two days.

Sweltering Surrey here too. I really fancy an Indian 😄 I always do this when it’s hot, yesterday I did baked Camembert/Tartiflette hybrid and last year on the hottest day I did cauliflower cheese 😄

Kids had main meal at nursery so had beans on toast for dinner.
