I'm in Berks and so uncomfortable. Feel like I'm in a lukewarm sauna. Bleurgh!

I'm in the Midlands and am a bit chilly, I've got goose pimples on my arms but can't be bothered to put a cardi on because it's upstairs and I'm tired.

I hate the heat so am dreading the hot air arriving.

Jfw82 · 24/06/2019 17:03

South Essex here and the humidity making both me and the 2yo cross and there is no breeze at all so all windows open is achieving nothing.... can't wait for Dh to get home so I can take a cold shower

Oblomov19 · 24/06/2019 17:14

Yes.Surrey. Awful.

Livpool · 24/06/2019 17:18

anitagreen · 24/06/2019 17:28

anitagreen · 24/06/2019 17:31

LaurieFairyCake · 24/06/2019 17:34

Yes, in London

I went to the gym to cool down Hmm

Tawdrylocalbrouhaha · 24/06/2019 18:22

East London is airless. It's not even that hot, but it's like being stifled by a damp warm blanket.

PotterHead1985 · 24/06/2019 18:35

There's a yellow weather warning here for thunderstorms this evening.

Please 👏

I'm dying and I'm about to start cooking a curry Shock

nomushrooms · 24/06/2019 18:38

Horrendous in Sussex, and it’s just taken me 25 minutes to get the 7 month old to sleep because it’s too hot for anything but a nappy, yet she keeps undoing the sodding thing 😡

userxx · 24/06/2019 18:38

Not a breeze here in Cheshire, absolutely loving it.

Preggosaurus9 · 24/06/2019 18:40

Horrible here in Midlands. Didn't leave the office at lunch or even open a window to let the BO out. Utterly horrid, air feels damp to touch.

anitagreen · 24/06/2019 18:41

@nomushrooms I do not miss those days at all you have my sympathy mine used to undo it and then fall asleep and have an accident before I discovered it in the night ffs Hmm

anitagreen · 24/06/2019 18:42

Even with a fan on it's not doing anything as it's just flying warm air about arghhh

Squiff70 · 24/06/2019 18:43

I'm in Staffordshire and it has been unbearable all afternoon here. My gadget says humidity is 74%. We need a good storm (then Summer can start).

Sandsnake · 24/06/2019 18:50

It’s warm and humid here in Surrey. I quite like it though. Just happy to be away from the cool and rainy weather we’ve had recently! Looking forward to hopefully seeing a decent storm this evening.

nomushrooms · 24/06/2019 21:43

@anitagreen I caught her playing with it in her sleep on the video monitor, so have had to sneak in ninja style and slip a towel under her bottom half 🤦🏽‍♀️

anitagreen · 24/06/2019 21:55

@nomushrooms Haha I've done that too my Nan used to offer to get me safety pins to stick it on I always said no as it seemed so dangerous rather than safe 🤦🏽‍♀️

anitagreen · 24/06/2019 21:57

It's really cooled down now hoping we do get some type of storm anyone have rain or thunder yet?

Bluerussian · 24/06/2019 22:45

Quite humid here now, hope it doesn't increase too much.

MT2017 · 25/06/2019 08:47

@nippsout we're in Berks too and it is horrible.

I went for a walk last night and it started spitting with rain, was looking forward to cooling down in proper rain but it didn't come Confused

origamiunicorn · 25/06/2019 08:50

It's like a swamp here yesterday (Dorset) I only walked up a few flight of stairs and could feel water running down my back Envy

Tawdrylocalbrouhaha · 25/06/2019 08:55

BBC London weather is now showing humidity at 93%, and I actually think they are underestimating it. The air feels like insects walking on my skin.

Aberforthsgoat · 25/06/2019 09:10

We had a lot of rain over night (Essex) so loud it woke me up and I’m pretty sure I heard thunder, and when I first woke up it felt a bit fresher. Having been out in it though, I am sweating again - it seems like the humidity has come straight back :( it’s really overcast so I’m hoping there will be a another storm and it will clear it a bit more!

HulksPurplePanties · 25/06/2019 09:18

I'm in Abu Dhabi. 47 degrees with 90% humidity here. Like living in a sauna.
