I am so drugged up on anti histamines and still am in agony. I think I am just like this for a couple of weeks a year but it is horrific. Glad it is the weekend and dh here as I am just lying around feeling out of it and awful

Yep - am back home at the moment (v.green) and my eyes are streaming. Doesn’t help that I continue to forget to take my piriton.

Minkies11 · 22/06/2019 21:51

Oh yes. Sat here sneezing looking angrily out the window at the garden.

Scripto · 22/06/2019 21:54

Yup. Shocking today. The worst it’s been for years. Want to pluck my eyes out.

NoSquirrels · 22/06/2019 21:54

Meeeeee.

It’s fucking rubbish.

Elliesmommy · 22/06/2019 21:56

Telfast tablets and dymista nasal spray. Game changers

Spooksandchocolatecake · 22/06/2019 22:01

Urgh I'm on some strong hospital stuff with Vaseline round my nostrils and angrily looking at my neighbours having a bbqAngry

FrenchyQ · 22/06/2019 22:02

Yes!....This is the worst day so far this year. My nose is so sore and I want to scratch my eyes out

timeforawine · 22/06/2019 22:04

Not yet dying but my bloody eye is driving me insane despite both citirazine and loretadine Angry
My toddler seems to have inherited my/MILS bad hay fever too Sad

Walkamileinmyshoesbeforeujudge · 22/06/2019 22:04

I live on the coast. Worst year ever -

MadisonAvenue · 22/06/2019 22:06

I can usually control mine with an antihistamine and Beconase but they're not touching it this year!

On top of that I've got 14 very itchy insect bites on my leg and stomach and that means I'm feeling very uncomfortable and sorry for myself.

Tawdrylocalbrouhaha · 22/06/2019 22:08

Yes, after a lovely day outdoors I am now suffering the torment of the damned. Fexofenadine, Piraton and Sodium Cromoglycate are not controlling it at all! Still, half way through the season now.

BarryBarryTaylor · 22/06/2019 22:09

Yes and I’m 34weeks pregnant so I can’t take what I usually do. (I usually end up taking steroids)
Pollen count is unbelievable high this year

BeagleMomma · 22/06/2019 22:10

Mine is awful, plus a dose of tonsillitis to go with it - I'm in miserable, snotty agony.

worriedandannoyed · 22/06/2019 22:11

@Spooksandchocolatecake what do you take out of interest? I've tried just about everything and currently take mizolastine but wondered if there was anything I hadn't tried yet!

Pebbles16 · 22/06/2019 22:32

My eyes my eyes! And the fuzzy head and generally wanting to send a drill up my nose. Normally a tree pollen girl but today is horrific

katseyes7 · 22/06/2019 22:33

Not personally, but l work on a supermarket checkout, and l've lost count of the amount of antihistamines l've put through today. The pollen count must be horrific just now.

Squiff70 · 22/06/2019 22:34

Not dying but certainly drowning in my own juices.

Soola · 22/06/2019 22:39

Mine abruptly dropped off yesterday, thank goodness.

What works for me is no windows open at all. Pets wiped down with damp cloth when they come indoors. Opticrom eye drops. Beconase nasal spray. Half a cetirizene tablet in the morning and the other half in the evening.

If I take a whole tablet I’m knocked out like a light despite the claim of it being non drowsy.

Mallowmarshmallow · 22/06/2019 22:41

Not yet....but I was on the few nice days we had earlier on in the year so I'm just waiting for it to strike again...!

MadisonAvenue · 22/06/2019 22:41

I get a Met Office pollen count alert every morning and seeing that it was going to be 'Very High' when my phone beeped at 7am this morning wasnt the best start to the day.

MrTumblePulledAKnifeOnMe · 22/06/2019 22:45

Yeah, wth is going on? My 2 years old DS suddenly developed what looks like hayfever today. Poor little thing had red watery puffy eyes and a streaming nose all afternoon ☹

StumpyinSomerset · 22/06/2019 22:48

Yes,me! Eyedrops are my best friend at the moment!

Tidypidy · 22/06/2019 22:49

Barry I've taken antihistamines and steroids through 3 pregnancies as hay fever was so bad. Dr said risk of side effects was worth it compared to not being able to breathe! I'd speak to your Gp if you're really suffering.

jackstini · 22/06/2019 22:49

DH usually is but had a kenalog injection this year and symptoms are hardly noticeable
Life changing

Luckypoppy · 22/06/2019 23:04

I'm feeling awful and overdosing on antihistamines.
