I’m finally in labour!!

I’m 405 (42) weeks pregnant. And I’m finally in labour.

I’ve had a number of is this it moments and nothing. But I’m finally in labour!

Was booked in for an induction on Tuesday but seems like this baby has decided to finally come out!!

Current contractions are between 7-8 minutes apart and I AM LOVING IT!!

Just thought I would share because I no longer feel like I’m having an elephant gestation Grin

Hope you have a great birth too! Enjoy your cup of tea and toast, your post birth bath and a nice sleep (hopefully) up on the ward.

Wow Exciting!!! I hope everything goes well for you 😁 try and enjoy it. I'm one of few who absolutely loved my birth I hope you can too.

I’m just so excited.

The back pain is a killer but I’m not complaining because I finally get to meet my baby.

Yay me Grin - sorry I know I sound like a tit Blush

Something that kept me going through the contractions was thinking that each one I had was another one down and closer to having my son in my arms ❤️

Good luck!

Walk up and down stairs, bounce on your ball and look up some positions for turning baby (in case you're having back2back labour with the back pain).

I’m very pleased DH is still at work as he’s a worrier so I’m enjoying the peace whilst he’s not here on my ball.
