I’m finally in labour!!

I’m 405 (42) weeks pregnant. And I’m finally in labour.

I’ve had a number of is this it moments and nothing. But I’m finally in labour!

Was booked in for an induction on Tuesday but seems like this baby has decided to finally come out!!

Current contractions are between 7-8 minutes apart and I AM LOVING IT!!

Just thought I would share because I no longer feel like I’m having an elephant gestation Grin

DH has arrived home and is currently on the phone to L&D ward as they are now 4-5 minutes apart.

We didn’t want to order Chinese and see it go to waste Wink

My advice would be that you speak to labour ward on the phone and if they hear you having a contraction it can help them call you in I found.

Sorry for the late reply! Baby was born yesterday morning at 5:30am.

My ideas for a live birth thread quickly went out the window when I had a large bleed and needed to be rushed to the hospital. This followed contractions of 4 in 10 minutes for the next 18 hours or so without any progress. Eventually I was given a uterus blocker type medicine and taken for a section where I was delivered of an 11lb 2 oz baby Shock he is lovely! A big one but a lovely one.
