I’m finally in labour!!

I’m 405 (42) weeks pregnant. And I’m finally in labour.

I’ve had a number of is this it moments and nothing. But I’m finally in labour!

Was booked in for an induction on Tuesday but seems like this baby has decided to finally come out!!

Current contractions are between 7-8 minutes apart and I AM LOVING IT!!

Just thought I would share because I no longer feel like I’m having an elephant gestation

But yes, wasn’t how I planned it but we’re both here and healthy and that’s what counts.

Oh my God so happy for you!!! I'm 39 weeks and have been told it's a big baby and that I should be concerned about natural delivery because of his size. It's really made me so anxious and upset but reading this post has made me hopeful that I can have a natural birth too. Congratulations to you on delivering your baby 😊

Well done OP, I know it can be disappointing when things don't go to plan but getting baby here is the main objective and it doesn't matter how you do it.

11lb 2oz....what a size. Bet he is super squishy and cuddly.
