Oh and loads of Pet Shop Boys in my early teens - the melancholic ones.

Jagged Little Pill album was pure teenage angst.

Pink / Just Like a Pill got me through a very tough break up.

I remember sitting weeping in a park 30 years ago, inconsolable because 'Danny' had gone off with some slut from the next village. I swung (swang?) angrily on the swings, singing this song for an hour before realising there was no one there to appreciate my angst. It was a bloody great song though...
