Why are you awake?

It's 3:15am. Why are you awake? Who else in your household is awake?

Currently me, newborn and 2 year old are awake. 7 year old is asleep next to me on the sofa as he woke up an hour ago and vomitted. 2 year old has vomitted twice. Please don't let a bug hit the house. Newborn is only 6 days old. Got 4 other kids. I can't deal with a sick bug and a newborn :(

5 year just woke us up with a trail of shit culminating in a huge pile in his bedroom... showered him, scrubbed thr carpet put a billion shit covered things in the wash.
Think my house will smell like poo until the end of days.
Safe to say a bug has hit here as well! 🤮😷😷😷😷

qj17 · 16/06/2019 03:34

Gosh OP hope it's not a bug! My 9 month old is wide awake. We're in Scotland and it looks like broad daylight outside!

Birdie6 · 16/06/2019 03:42

I live on the other side of the world. It's midday here >

Moonagedaydreem · 16/06/2019 03:44

Fell asleep on the sofa at 8pm, woke at 1am. Can't go back to sleep.

littlemissmoomoo · 16/06/2019 03:46

@Stroller15 I'm about 300 miles away from Scotland and it's starting to get light here. Another half hour and the birds will be singing.

Both kids have vommed again :'( Juggling a newborn and 2 puking kids is not fun on my own

I've been on nights all week, off for a couple of days but my body clock is all messed up...

53rdWay · 16/06/2019 03:48

Baby just pooed explosively all through clothes and sleepsack, needing total change and mop down, and then threw up down my nightie.

littlemissmoomoo · 16/06/2019 03:50

@nickyschof What's your job?

@qj17 not long to go!

@CanYouHelpFindThis and @Alonglongway Respect to you both.

For me it's bloody tinnitus again ... keeps waking me up for hours on the night Sad

Goodebe · 16/06/2019 03:51

Feeding three week old
When she was five days old my toddler started vomiting, went on for 24 hours and I was, like you, beside myself and worried about anyone else in the house getting it - good luck. Hopefully they are past the worst.

Stillneedwillpower · 16/06/2019 03:51

It's 3.50am here and I've just finished partying, so I'm having a cuppa before bed.

PirateWeasel · 16/06/2019 03:53

Almost 9 month old having some appalling kind of sleep regression. Kill me now.

scarbados · 16/06/2019 03:56

Stress-induced insomnia. I've had to resign from a voluntary position I loved beyond words and I feel as though I've ripped my own heart out and thrown myself on the scrapheap.

Stunn · 16/06/2019 03:56

My kids are teenagers and I'm still 'trained' to wake after just 4 hours of sleep. It's so annoying!

TokyoSushi · 16/06/2019 03:57

DH snoring woke me and yesterday's headache is still there, working myself up to going downstairs for some paracetamol. I can confirm that the birds are up and singing loudly in Cheshire!
