Mine is an itchy palate or itchy palms, oddly. I always know I'm getting a cold when those happen. Not sure what the scientific reason for it is though, especially the itchy palms one.

Your thread has jinxed me OP.
I've woken up this morning full of cold Envy

Submariner · 19/06/2019 09:40

Sensitive skin all over, a very unusual feeling I only get when I'm feverish, and achy joints.

Ever since I had my nose pierced ahem years ago my throat is my weak point, so if I get anything it's almost always going to turn to tonsillitis in the end.

FoldyRoll · 19/06/2019 10:30

An ache in the roots of my teeth, like you get when it's bitterly cold outside. At the first sign of that ache, the First Defence comes out.

mouldyhousemouldylife · 19/06/2019 10:51

I feel a bit weak and off and usually have a scratchy throat.

babysharkah · 19/06/2019 11:57

Itchy inside ears

Buyitinbamboo · 19/06/2019 12:07

I get the weird skin aches too. Like running my hand over my forearm hurts

DrinkSangriaInThePark · 19/06/2019 12:16

Taking anti histamines when you have a cold is actually a bad idea. They work by repressing the body's immune system (in other to lessen an allergic reaction) and so taking them when your immune system should be at it's busiest, fighting a cold virus, is counter-productive!

managedmis · 19/06/2019 12:17

Tickly nose

ForeignBodies · 19/06/2019 12:18

Sore throat and feeling shivery.

sergeilavrov · 19/06/2019 12:20

I get toothache, and just as I think about making a dentist appointment - the cold hits me.
