Sneezing

HappyEverIftar · 14/06/2019 08:11

An overwhelming feeling of tiredness and then I have to nap (which I never do, I find it hard enough to sleep at night) so I know I'm coming down with a cold, then the sore throat and then the rest.

That scratchy/itchy feeling in the back of my nose and throat.

Mine's always a sore throat first too. Followed by blocked nose, then sneezing and finally a cough that seems to last for ages.

LadySainsburySeal · 14/06/2019 08:45

Sore throat and a feeling that I want to rest.

Same here.

I usually get a strange taste in my mouth. I always know I'm getting a cold if I get that taste.

Deadringer · 14/06/2019 09:25

Nearly always a sore throat. Sometimes I get a sniffley nose for a day or two but it doesn't develop into any. I can't remember the last time I had a proper cold with a cough.

Theoldwoman · 14/06/2019 10:12

A really strange metallic taste in my mouth, like I've just been to the dentist and had a filling without the numbing if that makes sense?

RuffleCrow · 14/06/2019 10:40

Itchy under my chin. Surely i can't be the only one?!

mustdrivesoon · 14/06/2019 11:10

Weird sort of scratchy throat. Not sore but like I need to clear it.

Feeling tired

WatchingFromTheWings · 14/06/2019 11:12

Sore throat and tightening of the chest. I'm asthmatic so always suffer with that when I've a cold.

FudgeBrownie2019 · 14/06/2019 11:13

A temperature. I have an odd thing where whenever I'm about to get ill my temperature rockets so 40.2 and stays there for a couple of days.

Working with children means I rarely get coughs, colds or illnesses in general, though, so when I do it tends to wipe the floor with me for weeks.

HeronLanyon · 14/06/2019 11:14

Dry back of nose plus sneeze.

HalfBloodPrincess · 14/06/2019 11:15

My hair hurts when I brush it a day or so before I get ill

wageslave · 14/06/2019 11:16

The bones in my hands ache(!), then a day or two later I get a tickling throat.

lurkingfromhome · 14/06/2019 11:19

An odd feeling of spaciness and general weirdness, followed by a strange lethargy. I can now recognize that that's the virus settling in so I usually go and give myself a few blasts of First Defence to try to send it on its way.

Silversun83 · 14/06/2019 13:09

Exhaustion and a really dry throat.

thenorthernluce · 14/06/2019 13:09

Swollen neck glands and the feeling that the connection between my nose and throat is broken

Lllot5 · 14/06/2019 13:10

Sore throat only on one side normally. Tired eyes.
